"We went to this San Jose location because we were used to Scott’s Seafood in Walnut Creek. That location unfortunately is permanently closed now. The San Jose location is nothing like the restaurant we were used to. Just another restaurant at a busy location, overpriced food but excellent service for such place. I guess restaurants these days try to make up for their loses during lockdown by limiting menu choices, reducing the portions and hiking up the prices…. The food quality was OK but, by God! If you’re going to overload the prices, at least make it up somehow!! I’m a giver, but I shut down when giving it’s expected. I feel for the servers and always tip more to somehow help them for lost business. Hope for better times and better dining experiences. My opinion was made after dozens of “fine” dining experiences after lockdown, not only Scott’s Seafood in San Jose. Scott’s Seafood though, is no different"
