"I have gotten take out from here a couple times and was still making up my mind on it when I unfortunately had an unpleasant service experience (due to the management, not the cashier or service staff that will sour my perception of the place if or when I return again. The food itself is fine or pretty good I like the hot basil rice as a vegetarian option especially. The long annoying story: I ordered takeout in person, then went to the grocery store and came back. There were a couple other people ordering, so the regular cashier who had taken my order was busy. One of the management/owners was there too saw me and asked if that was my order; it was. Then tried to explain to me, in an accusatory tone, the different prices for lunch and dinner. I had made no objection to anything about their prices and had already paid cash when placing the order. At first I thought they were saying I 'd been charged the wrong price so I sort of waited for him to get to the point. After him leading me over to the wall menu and pointing at the price, I brought out my receipt and showed him the same price that I 'd already paid. (This is where he was especially condescending and insulting: Because the receipt itemized the base curry order and the $3 added protein, I mentioned both items as a way of AGREEING the price I had already paid was the sum he was pointing at on the menu, but he interpreted this as some sort of challenge to his still unclear point and asked me okay, what do you get when you add those numbers together. I don 't need you to check that I can add 3 to a number, dude. Just say right, 21 total or whatever. I told him, multiple times, I have no objection to the price , there 's no problem here, why are you bringing this up. Eventually he told me you said price was 'illegal ' , I said I didn 't say anything like that, and he STILL kept going. Finally he slowed down enough to actually listen to me telling him I didn 't express any problem with the price, he went back to the cashier who immediately told him no, that was a different guy, I already talked to him about it and we worked it out. So. There was some other customer who had an issue with the lunch vs dinner prices. There was a communication issue where he thought it was me. And that 's all fine, until you ignore your customer because you 're dead set on giving a lecture/rant and won 't possibly consider you 're the one mixed up.From the way he talked to his cashier, I doubt he treats his staff very well either. He was clearly worked up about the whole thing, so a good start to conduct yourself better is CHILL OUT for god 's sake it was a misunderstanding about $3 or something. Even if I had been the one complaining, his condescending and aggressive behavior still would 've been inappropriate. If you 're not capable or willing to communicate clearly and calmly about these little things, I recommend you let your staff do their jobs; the cashier seemed to have everything handled just fine until the other guy got involved. (People like this often decide to blame the staff for their own behavior; I hope that doesn 't happen here. I was tempted to give this two stars, but ultimately the food is okay and most people there seem competent. Just a frustrating few minutes. Vegetarian options: I felt like there were slightly fewer vegetarian specific items than I would love for a menu of this size, but the ones that are there are perfectly good simply leaving protein out the hot basil rice or curries for example. Parking: Parking is part of the large shopping center, but on the Walgreens side which is fairly low usage, not on the Shaw 's side which can be quite crowded."

"Stopped in here for dinner with some friends and was intrigued by the look of this place on Instagram and the favorable reviews. It is a really cute and cozy restaurant and the food comes out looking beautiful but unfortunately the flavors in the food were a bit basic. The menu is HUGE and has something for everyone which is probably why the dishes failed to impress. We ordered mostly Thai dishes and even specified that we wanted something extra spicy and nothing was spicy in the least. The Pad That and Pad Khao (fried rice) were best in the flavor department. The Khao Soi was pretty flavorless. The Mango Sticky Rice was the only dish where the presentation was just confusing and the dish itself was pretty unremarkable. The overall flavor profile here is sweet and could use a few more chilis, fish sauce, and lime wedges! As others noted, food and drinks come out a little slow, but the servers were very nice and got us everything we needed in a timely manner. I had to take a star off because they brought us one liter carafe of water for a table of 6 and never refilled or noticed to bring us another. The 2 servers were hustling but not that hard. I think this place is great for a first date or casual stop in where you just want to enjoy the beautifully decorated atmosphere and stay awhile! Service: Dine in Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5"

"Good service; lived up to the automatic 18% gratuity/tip. We ordered two entrees and one roll. All were well presented, though the low lighting hampered the appeal/look. Did not particularly like the Drunken Udon with chicken somewhat bland, and evident the quality of seasoning used was similar to what is used at run of the mill Asian restaurants for a third of the price. We expected a more flavorful, natural (non chemical) and higher quality well/homemade sauce, especially in light of the cost. The chicken (white meat) outshined the dish as it was perfectly cooked and very tender. The red and green bell peppers and onions could have been cooked a bit more as they were nearly raw. Our other entree, Crispy Salt Pepper Scallops, was a hit at the table. If you don't do spicy then stay away from this dish, as it has a serious kick due to an over abundance of spicy chili peppers, especially whole red hot chilis, which we piled to the side of the dish. The scallops were plenty and, for the most part, were cooked nearly perfectly, which is hard to do while maintaining a crispy shell. Would order again with a request for less red hot chili peppers. Great atmosphere especially if seated by the riverside. Gave it 4 stars because of the low lighting over the tables during the evening meal (pictures attached of the entrees were with a flash) Would we come back? Yes and no; we split. Kid friendliness: Three items on kid's (10 and under) menu."
