"However, when I got home, I discovered that the slices were quite small. I decided to call another Green Olive location that wasn’t the Vineland one to ask about their cheesecake prices. I found out they charge $7 per slice, which means three slices should have cost $21. With tax, my total would have been between $33 and $34. It seemed that the hostess had inadvertently tipped herself an extra $5 or $6.
I would understand if the restaurant was busy, but it was practically empty, with maybe five customers total. I brought up the discrepancy to the hostess, but she insisted it was all correct because of the cheesecakes. Additionally, along with my complaint, I noted that I had ordered a full pint but only received half. After this experience, I won’t be returning to the Vineland location. It’s unfortunate, as I thought the place was beautiful, and I had considered bringing my family there for a meal. Now, I’ve changed my mind. She was checking her screen while there were very few customers around, and even after I questioned the bill, she still didn’t see her mistake."
