"We finally tried the Philly Shack and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT AT ALL!!! Both my husband and myself got 8in Philly cheesesteaks. I got mine with mayo, pickles, banana peppers, green peppers, and onion. My husband and I both loved our food, SO SO SO GOOD!! Didn’t get fries or anything, honestly the sandwich itself was enough. I ate half, took a break, and then ate the other half ? but I highly recommend it you want a good Philly cheesesteak!"

"I would’ve given the place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the horrible service we had. The waitress (Heather) came and didn’t even say hello or anything, she just went straight at it, took our drink orders, came back slammed the cups on the table and left… by the time she took our order we had already finished our drinks, we sat there waiting for our food drinkless. Our food came… now that deserved a 5 star on its own. Food was delicious, props to the cooks! Steaks and burgers were perfectly cooked and it had great flavor. My husband asked for some jalapeños, that never came… we ate half of our meal with still no drinks, until we were almost done eating she showed up again to ask if we wanted more drinks???We finished and sat there for a bit longer, overheard a nearby table telling another table the food is great here, but the service is not. I guess it sums it up right there…. We might come back just because of the food, hopefully we will have better luck with a different waitress!!"

"I had an anniversary dinner at 8 pm, and seating went well, parking was convenient. The noise and ambiance were good, lively, and fun. Victor who served us did a good job of being attentive and quick to help us with anything. Cocktails took 15 min but they were honestly great. However, the major issues were with the food. We ordered 3 for 24$ sides to try a variety. My partner had the steak and I had the short rib and polenta dish. Although we stated we wanted to start with the sides combination, before our entree. We received the steak and short rib first. We didn't mention it and moved on. The steak came in Med-well, when we had ordered medium rare. That we mentioned to Victor. The short rib dish was missing the Brussel sprouts listed, although small, still very tasty and tender. The polenta seemed to have dried out a bit in the bain or maybe over-seasoned, if the thick texture is what they were going for. The steak was fixed immediately which makes me think it may have been a table mix-up in the best case. Truffle Mac was good but underseasoned, Fries were vibrant with heavy paprika and peppers, which is great but again needed salt, the bacon bits were not making up for it. Spinach and mushrooms were good with simple oil and seasoning. Let's be clear, none of the food was bad, maybe I expected better execution from a team built on the David Burke name, or maybe those details like salt, order accuracy, and timeliness are just that important."

"Ordered a large pizza with a bowl of ramen, they forgot the ramen, called and was told that they will send the ramen, 2nd delivery no ramen a bowl of chicken noodle soup and mind you they charge me 8.50 for the chicken noodle soup (that I didn’t order, why would I pay 8.50 for a bowl of chicken noodle soup when I can go to the market buy a can for 2.00) the receipt said chicken noodle soup, so who ever took my order messed up. And I left a good tip. Never again!!!!"

"My wife and I both enjoyed our meals at this restaurant. I ordered the cioppino and she ordered the veggie shrimp dish. We arrived early at 4:39 PM on New Year's Eve and were with a group of 8. The service was great, despite the waitress forgetting a few items like ketchup and a steak knife. Overall, we all left happy and would definitely return to this restaurant."

"We were in Nashville for an appointment and figured it would be a good time to give Burger Republic a try. We arrived shortly before they opened and waited outside at one of the tables until it started raining and we went inside to wait. They sat us promptly and gave us some time to check out the menu. Lots of burgers and such to choose from but we made up our minds...I ordered the West Texas Burger with Tots and my wife ordered the West Coast Burger with House Chips. Our food came out pretty quickly as the place was starting to get busy with the lunch crowd. The brioche buns on both burgers were so soft and fresh. My wife's West Coast Burger (minus letter tomato) was, as she said, delicious. She said it was just like the smashburgers we make at home on our Traeger with the Griddle Hack insert. I stole a few House Chips from her and it made me wish I ordered those instead of the tots because they were really good. My burger was delicious, not quite as spicy as I thought it would be with the habenero cheese, jalapeno slices, and spicy BBQ sauce...but the meat was nice and juicy. Pressed (not smashed) thin so it got all the carmelization crispness on the edges. Was a little let down by the tots because they're just tots...I was expecting some housemade tots, but hey...it is what it is. We finished things off with two shakes for the road. I ordered the Assassination By Chocolate while my wonderful wife ordered the Salted Caramel. Both shakes were delicious. I am a huge fan of all things chocolate and this shake did not disappoint! Great spot and a great location for all those people lined up down the street to get a picture of themselves with the big wings! Highly recommend. Would love to say we'll be back, but we try to visit different spots when we're in Nashville...but, again, it's definitely a spot you should try if you're looking for a tasty burger after walking around The Gulch."

"We wanted to try something new-we ordered the marinated pork chop. When I cut into it the middle was not cooked through. We let our waitress know and we decided order something else. "No Latinos allowed!! Go to the restaurant across the street best service!!! I wish I can give this spot 0 stars this spot has no respect for their customer’s, the security guard was on top of me and my family when I was already seated. We were celebrating my girlfriend being pregnant. Everyone else was fine walking in but the Latino family gets harassed. I walked outside to get my brother and his family He kept asking for id when I already told him I’m seated while on the phone. Me still on the phone he kept being on my back not respecting me being on the phone. I went up stairs and he was on my back asking for id again. When no other family was getting id. We had a whole baby with us. The body guard was making a scene. He ruined the whole night staring at us sitting down. Made us feel unwelcome as soon as we came in. Last night was supposed to be a celebration for me and my family docside brewery ruined it!"

"Gatehouse is a family-friendly tavern with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and the service is warm and attentive. Beer enthusiasts will appreciate the extensive selection, with over 30 draft options and more than 40 bottles and cans, featuring classic favorites as well as many locally crafted specialties. It’s also an excellent spot to catch your favorite sports teams on TV, with the promise: “If it’s on, we’ll find it.” We kicked off our evening with the House Nacho Tray ($11, with the option to add Pork, Chicken, or Chili for $6) and the Fried Wisconsin Cheese Curds ($12). The nachos were among the best I've ever had, generously topped with Queso, Sour Cream, Black Beans, Salsa, Scallions, and Jalapeños. The cheese curds had a perfect balance of crunch on the outside and gooey warmth inside, complemented by a tangy Marinara dipping sauce. For the main course, I enjoyed the Double Bacon Smash Burger ($17, served with Fries, Chips, Pasta Salad, or Green Salad). It was everything you desire in a big, juicy burger, and the flavorful House Burger Sauce was an ideal finishing touch. The Smoked Brisket Burnt Ends Sandwich ($17) is also worth trying, or opt for the Platter ($20) served with Coleslaw and Potato Salad. The sandwiches come on a freshly baked Brioche bun, making for a fantastic experience. I also tried the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich ($16, which includes a side). The tender steak, along with Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, and Provolone cheese, was delicious, but my sandwich initially had only a small amount of cheese. A quick trip back to the kitchen resolved that issue, and the Potato Salad was a nice side addition. However, there were a few disappointments. The Tavern Chili ($10 for a large bowl) was bland, even with the added Cheese, Sour Cream, Scallions, and Jalapeños; I wouldn’t recommend it to serious chili fans. The Fish and Chips ($17) also fell short; the “hand-battered” fish was more breaded than battered and lacked the expected crunch. The two medium-sized pieces of fish reminded me of those found in the frozen food aisle at a grocery store. Overall, I encourage you to give Gatehouse a try; there are plenty of popular options on their extensive menu that you’re likely to enjoy."

"We requested the waitress to split the bill evenly among the couples. My boyfriend paid $45, and the other guy also paid $45. The waitress provided us with both receipts, each clearly indicating a charge of $45, totaling $90. We left without a second thought, but a few days later, my boyfriend noticed a charge of $90 on his account. We rechecked the receipts, confirming they stated $45 each, and I called my friend to see if he had been charged the same amount. He sent me a screenshot that showed he was indeed charged $45. This means the restaurant took a total of $135—$45 from my friend and $90 from my boyfriend. This raised a red flag. We went back to the restaurant to speak with a manager, and we explained the situation. She promised to look into it and said it should be resolved in a few days, but that never happened. When my boyfriend followed up, another staff member said she would investigate and return our call, but she never did. To make matters worse, the customer service was abysmal; the staff treated us as if we were in the wrong. It felt like we had been robbed, with no apologies or resolutions offered. We are still waiting for a solution, and honestly, I wish we could reclaim our tip as well. I would never return to this place!"

"I would not recommend hosting your private event at this venue. They are extremely disorganized; my emails bounced back, and I received conflicting information regarding my booking. Although I was initially assured of certain arrangements, when the week of the party arrived, they presented a different story. There was no contract provided, and all communication was done over the phone since their email system was unreliable. This lack of documentation led to numerous unfulfilled promises. Fortunately, I managed to get a refund and found another place to host my event at the last minute, but the entire experience was a major hassle."

"Already a good Saturday breakfast and lunch spot The Coffee Trappe has become more appreciated by local farmers,boat workers and watermen. The menu is expanding and they have a winter complement to their excellent vegetable crab soup. This addition is the Oyster stew and with this item I believe they qualify as an Oyster Bar. "A little jewel. I was in a hotel right on the street from that bar and I'm so glad I found it. The staff is absolutely brilliant, the food is great and the atmosphere is friendly. These guys also do not calculate the tourist tax, which do so many places on international drive.... This is a must stop bar to give you a real American bar experience. "What an amazing spot! If you’re a fan of anything smoked, this is the place for you. Beer lovers will feel right at home, too. The pastrami is the best I’ve ever had—perfectly balanced, not too salty, and it just melts in your mouth. The monkfish pastrami was delicious as well. Don't miss the Portobello fries; they're a must-try. The smokehouse potatoes were delightful, and I adored all the pickled and fermented vegetables—a refreshing change from the usual fare. If you enjoy pork belly, theirs is simply incredible. The lentil soup was thick and scrumptious. My husband was thrilled with the Plzeňský Prazdroj/Pilsner Urquell, while I enjoyed the Downeast Unfiltered Cider, and others were fans of Schofferhofer. Everything we ate and drank was top-notch. This foodie duo will definitely be back soon!"

"while my hands were washing in the ladies' room, there was beaten and cursed. I thought something was wrong outside and opened the door. Two women are locked up. they immediately began to escape before me while I was washing my hands and the other tried to intimidate me on my back by saying that we were all women together. I never said a word and she tried to intimidate me on my back by asking me how many paper towels I needed to dry my hands. They were obviously drunk, so I just went out. When I came out, I asked a manager and explained what happened. they told me it was on my vacation. our server offered to compose us and I left a nice tipp. howeve when we left the restaurant, the two women were at the bar and one stared at me whenever we came out as if they were not done. can be used on the sport side for the continued drunk mozens. customers should not go to this type of behaivor, we will never go there again."
