"The empanadas at this restaurant are quite good. A few months ago, they had a bit more filling, but I actually prefer the current version with less filling, as the previous one was slightly too salty for my taste. The higher pastry-to-filling ratio offers a more balanced bite. However, the real highlight is the Venezuelan-style cachapas. These soft, flexible pancakes are dotted with creamy sweet corn kernels and toasted to a beautiful golden brown. They come generously filled with tomatoes, corn, lettuce, and your choice of protein. The subtle sweetness of the pancake pairs perfectly with the salty meat or cheese and the mildly tangy tomatoes. Although it may resemble a sandwich, be warned: it will definitely fall apart if you try to pick it up, so it’s best enjoyed with a knife and fork. The extra effort is absolutely worth it!"
