"I thought maybe the sushi would redeem the meal, so I waited. And waited. I watched other patrons receive their meals while I sat there for an agonizing forty-five minutes. By that time, I had finished a beer, which at least arrived in a timely manner. When my food finally arrived, the staff apologized for the delay. I was eager to see what they had spent so much time preparing. The rolls were average-sized, but there was noticeably more rice than fish. The tuna and salmon rolls were just that—plain tuna and salmon with no avocado or cucumber to add some freshness. I enjoy raw fish, but the quality of the fish itself wasn’t great; I only liked one of the three rolls. It's a favorite spot for some of my friends, so perhaps I’ll give it another try in the future."

"Awesome beef salad from Noodle Monster. Allowing myself meat til Jan 1. Not my kind of beef but the mouthwatering vinaigrette is amazing; you let it post-roast marinade 3 hrs and heat again and is tender and lovely. It arrives warm Persian cucumbers thin slices of heirloom tomatoes already consumed. The chicken Pho consumed multiple times and the best I've had in America ."

"Vegan approved! I love Thai cuisine!! One of my favorite dishes is Pad See Ew, which consists of wide rice noodles, tofu, broccoli, and carrots stir-fried in dark sauce. It is sweet, savory, and oh so satisfying! Such a beautiful plate. I can never have enough of these delicious Veggie Dumplings!! To be honest, I could eat them every day and never get tired of them. Super crispy and filled with healthy vegetables. Yum!! This is just the way I like it. Crispy from edge to edge! Mango Sticky Rice is one of my favorite treats. The combination of warm rice, fresh mangoes, and sweet coconut milk may seem unusual, but you will just have to trust me on this one. aHHmazing flavor!! It's truly a bite of heaven, for sure. "I am giving this restaurant three stars because the food was good, but we had to wait much longer than expected. We were told our order would be ready in 15-20 minutes, but we ended up waiting for 50 minutes. Despite there only being 4 or 5 tables occupied, we could have sat down and eaten faster than that. It would have been nice if they offered us a starter or reduced the price on our bill due to the long wait, but we only received a "sorry". There were also some mistakes in our order. This was our first visit and we will give them another chance to see if these issues are resolved. I appreciate good quality food and hope they can improve."

"Food was good so my hats off to the chef cause that's the reason why I left the tip. The waitress left a service that was horrible. She didnt check on my table at all to see if we were okay, appetizers were forgotten, and then to top it off, she never refilled our waters. I had to get other servers to get my bill and to a to go box. Order to pick up if you really can't find any other place for Thai food."

"The restaurant was clean and the waitress provided excellent service. However, we encountered several issues during our visit. Our party of three consisted of my husband, our daughter who ordered noodles, and I chose sushi. The restaurant was quite empty, just us and one other table, yet our food took an unusually long time to arrive. By the time my sushi came out, my husband was already halfway through his meal. My daughter’s noodles arrived first, but they were barely warm. Although she usually loves noodles, she barely touched her plate. I tasted them myself, and they were quite delicious. However, after we left, my daughter mentioned that she had seen a staff member in the kitchen picking things off a plate of noodles, which I found very concerning. I'm upset that she didn't mention it while we were there. Overall, due to this experience, we won't be coming back. Very disappointing!"

"This is the most affordable Thai food you’ll find, especially for delivery, and it’s of better quality than numerous other spots in the area (like those on Avenue, U-Village, Roosevelt, and Green Lake). It's not really suited for dine-in, if that's even an option, as the shop is tiny and often filled with DoorDash drivers waiting for orders. An elderly couple runs the place and works incredibly hard. Some menu items are straightforward or on the smaller side, but most are packed with flavor. Overall, it offers the best value for a quick lunch by a long shot!"

"My entire order was incorrect, except for one item. I've been ordering from this restaurant for the past six years, always dealing directly with the owner, Kay Kay. We are extremely disappointed with the service she provided and her attitude. We usually order food almost every week, spending around $55-$60. By the time we got to enjoy the yellow curry, it had already gone bad and smelled like spoiled milk. I specifically requested gluten-free rice, but she made it with regular rice. When I called to address this, she told me she couldn't replace it because she didn't hear my request. I also ordered a second yellow curry with rice, but instead, I received regular fried rice. After I voiced my complaints, the owner merely promised to ensure the order would be correct next time. I'm very disappointed in the level of customer service and the dismissive attitude of the owner. They have certainly lost a loyal customer who frequently praised their food and referred many friends."

"Our trip to Kim Son was highly anticipated hearing so much about it as the best Vietnamese buffet outside of Vietnam. We came on a weekend exactly at 11 AM and it was already crowded. The place is huge and they a very large variety of dishes you can try: noodle soup station, a street food station, fried food station, steamed food station dim sum, a sushi station and a dessert station. Queues got long when we were leaving at the busier lunch time (12:30) but the service was quick it's not self serve; each station has multiple staff. It was a very good representation of the wide array of different food offerings available from Vietnamese culture. Each dish was good but none were great. For the price, the value isn't quite there as there wasn't much seafood options. Overall, great experience for someone who wants to get a deep taste of Vietnamese cuisine!"

"From sushi (Yellow Dragon , pad thai, bubble tea, thai tea, pho, and rolled ice cream--everything we had was delicious! We had 4 people in our party and everyone raved about their meals. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, and the service was fantastic. One customer (a local? came in and the store owners knew his name! The milk bubble tea is way better than downtown OOB and just as good (if not better than well known chains in Boston. I LOVE pad thai and am quite picky with the dish. Out of all the pad thai I've had in Massachusetts and across the country, this sauce is fire! The rolled ice-cream (we got a vanilla base was super creamy and tasty. This will be my family's go-to, must-visit spot everytime we visit OOB!"

"I placed my order on the Thai Basil website mid afternoon for a 6:15 pick up. They received a text at 5:45 saying it was being prepared. I arrived to pick it up at 6:15 after receiving a text saying my order was ready. When I arrived no order was waiting. I waited for a while as they looked very busy but then asked as was informed they were making it. I ended up waiting for my food until 6:55 almost 1 hours of waiting. I asked how could I avoid this in the future and they said don’t order when it is so busy. This was not a good customer experience and as I was waiting for that hour I saw people come in, order and receive food. I understand things can happen and orders maybe missed but they did not seem to care about my hour wait and did not offer way to rectify the mistake. I will have to find a reliable Thai food restaurant now."

"This used to be one of my favorite Thai restaurants, but things have changed. With rising prices and declining quality, my experience has shifted. I understand that inflation affects small businesses, which is why I've continued to support them. I once felt that the food was worth the price, even with the increases. Unfortunately, it seems like the meals are no longer prepared with the same care and passion; they now just feel like overpriced Thai food. My favorite dish, pad see ew, has been quite bland for the past few months. The noodles, which used to be beautifully brown and packed with flavor, are now pale and unseasoned. It’s a disappointing experience."

"My wife and I have been there twice. They have nailed it twice. Try the drunken noodles. They serve it pretty tame, but can spice it up if you ask them to. I personally order it standard and use the awesome chili sauce that is at the table to kick it up a bit. Great service, great location, great prices."
