"Update: we reordered the Bahn Mi and this time we were told the bread is made with egg. We ordered online and picked up in the store. We found the process very easy and their labels clear. Vegetable Pho: Broth had decent flavor. We had asked for Siracha on the side but they gave us Siracha Ketchup. There were a ton of veggies that came on the side along with the noodles. They also gave plenty of toppings. We found the pho to be a little too cool and would have preferred the temperature to be a bit hotter. We were very happy it came with an appropriate soup spoon. Yellow Curry: Really delicious curry with a bit of spice. The curry tasted similar to a Japanese curry. It was a tad oily. The vegetables and tofu were really good in it and the rice was cooked nicely. *staff advised the potatoes are deep fried briefly in a deep fryer that is also shared with animal products. Vegetable Fried Rice add tofu, no egg, no butter: We really enjoyed the vegetables fried rice. It's a dish that is generally readily available for vegans but it still shined at Lime Basil. They did a really good job with this dish, possibly our favorite dish here. Staff: The staff are always helpful when we ask if something is vegan and they actually try to find out, and advise how to make it vegan if they can accommodate us. This is super nice. Parking: Parking was a bit of a hassle. There is construction on the main road, it seems that there is an area in front of the restaurant that you might be able to park temporarily, but I'm not sure if that's legal. We drove around the block behind the restaurant and walked down a sidewalk in between two buildings. Parking was free. Curbside Pickup: Curbside pickup is available. You can park right in front of the restaurant which is next to several construction cones and a bus stop. Once you arrive, just call and they will bring your food out. COVID-19: There was no one eating in and staff were wearing masks."

"This restaurant was a delightful surprise! The food was incredible with generous portions, and the owner and staff were exceptionally friendly. My friend and I were in the area for a casino event and honestly found the neighborhood a bit sketchy. But when you're hungry, you have to eat! We chose this restaurant mainly out of curiosity sparked by its name. I ordered gumbo while my friend had fried rice and some shrimp wontons, which looked amazing. She raved about how fantastic they were. Everything was wonderful, and we felt completely safe there. It was truly a lovely place to dine. The only downside I would mention is that the exterior could be more inviting, but the interior was charming. Merry Christmas to everyone!"

"Definitely not the best pho I’ve ever had, but for the Chambana area it is one of the better options. I ordered a watermelon frozen bubble tea, combination meat pho, and some tofu summer rolls. The summer rolls were fresh and large, which was so nice to pair with the warm soup. Service was very fast, although I did need to call the waiter’s attention a couple times as they didn’t check in on me throughout my meal. I’ll definitely return here if I am craving Vietnamese food during the school year."

"Delicious, great and secret atmosphere! Pho 89 was a great place to get dinner and pick up with my friend (without making the choice of a place too beautiful)! The menu was like other Vietnamese places (big, a great variety, affordable prices) but there were some special things my eye fought like roast duck and various soup options. The soup was rich and light, vegetables were crisp and fresh, and meat and needles were abundant. I can't complain! We have the popcorn chicken to share it. I have the special combo noodle soup that was amazing. Servers were friendly, location was convenient, and the dining room was busy, but comfortable. I'll be back soon when I'm in the area."

"The Seattle Pho-Natics 7/27/09. The Seattle Pho-Natics went to What the Pho July 27th, 2009 and had a great experience!Interior: The interior was very modern, not like a 'traditional ' pho restaurant, but didnt feel like a 'chain ' restaurant either! Very clean, and the bathrooms were clean as well. They also have a full bar, which was great!Service: The service was amazing! The wait staff was very accomodating for our group of 17 this time. The drinks and appetizers came out very fast, as well as the pho. Didnt feel rushed out the door like a lot of pho restarurants.Price: They have small and large sizes- $6.95 and $7.95, they also have a childrens size pho! They do take credit cards as well.Broth: Very good! I feel most of us gave them a A+ on their broth, not too bland or salty like others! The condiments for the pho was sufficient as well, we asked for more and they came right out with plenty for all.Selection: The menu is great! They not only have Pho, but they also have appetizers, dinner menu, desserts, full bar, but also a happy hour from 3-6pm. The happy hour is great! $2 well drinks, $2 beers and $2 off appetizers! The one condiment they didnt have was chili oil, however one of the members requested that they should have it, and 5min later the staff brought out 2 bowls of homemade chili oil for our pho, made by the chef! Very tasty! They also cater to the vegetarian crowd by having tofu. One item we really enjoyed was the prawn pho! Large prawns can be added to your pho for a small price, very fresh and very good!Location: Near Southcenter Mall in Tukwila, plenty of parking.Score: As a whole What the Pho get a 8-9 out of 10. The only reasons for this was if you want to have happy hour drinks, you have to sit in the bar, even with a large group. There was plenty of room, but that night it wasnt busy, otherwise it would be difficult for a large group to sit together. "We arrived at the restaurant and the waitress told us our table number but didn't guide us to it. She placed the menu on the table and walked away without saying a word. After waiting for about 5-10 minutes, no one came to take our order. We noticed one waitress and called out to her, but she ignored us twice. The food was mediocre. We were particularly disappointed by the lack of customer service — there was no greeting, no assistance to our table, and no effort to take our order, even though there were only four other tables being served at the time. We won't be returning."

"One of my favorites in this saturated pho market. The broth that makes or breaks a bowl of pho is clear, rich and flavorful just the way I like it. Quality has been consistent every time I go there. "I visited this restaurant on a weekend and completely underestimated its popularity. The line was incredibly long, and we waited nearly an hour and a half just to get a table. You really know a place is authentic when you see a large crowd of Vietnamese people waiting to be seated. The atmosphere of the restaurant is reminiscent of an open cafeteria, with some large tables and basic chairs. However, the flavor of the food was outstanding and truly authentic. The prices are also very reasonable. Keep in mind that there's only street parking available. "The restaurant had a spacious, pleasant, and clean atmosphere. The pho was just okay—not particularly remarkable, but rather average. The broth was a bit on the salty side for my taste. I also found the portion of noodles to be excessive, and I struggled to finish it all. The noodles were slightly overcooked and broke apart easily when I tried to lift them with chopsticks, which I'm not a fan of. On a positive note, the coconut water was quite good and really refreshing after the salty soup."

"I've been coming here for almost 20 years and it never disappoints and every time I bring someone who hasn't been here, they always follow immediately in love with the food. Fried eggrolls are some of the best I've ever had. Pho broth is flavorful to say the least. And check out their version of beef stew #24 I think? ... the flavor is out of this world. And their ice coffee with condensed milk is exceptional."

"Delicious, clean homemade style! Watchout for the price increase, 3 of us get Pho Paris at least twice a month, we spend around $60 plus tip. This weekend we ordered our usual and bill came to $83 without a tip. Portions were cut, only one piece of meat, it used to be two. I'm all ok with that, considering inflation BUT $4.50 for a can of Soda!!! We went to the Bancroft next day, 16oz glass bottle of soda came with glass , ice and the server pour it for us. $3.00 At Capital grill and Smith&wollensky homemade sodas are under $4.00 other restaurants have free refills . I'm going to still go there but only once a month and never order soda. Waiter wrote down our order but came back 3 times to confirm what we ordered. Poor kid he didn't even know what was on the menu. I'm glad he asked tho better than getting it wrong."

"Anyone who has ever tasted real pho will never come to this place again. I got the impression that they just brought instant noodles filled with boiling water.I guess this is a place for gullible tourists or people who rarely visit these places. Very expensive and tasteless.In addition, they forgot to give me a receipt with the order number and I had to guess to come up and ask what my order number is.Meager menu, wasted money, the feeling that you were deceived somewhere."
