"I appreciated the concept of building my own bowl and the variety of ingredients available. However, I found the seafood components to be rather small. While the size is suitable for mixing with other ingredients, I felt the quantity was lacking, and some of the flavors were quite bland. If you have to drown your food in sauce or dressing to enjoy it, then it raises the question of why you should pay so much. You might as well just sip the flavored liquid that's masking the other flavors you want to enjoy. I'm not a big fan of overly sweet sauces and dressings, which often coat a lot of Asian cuisine. I prefer just enough sauce to enhance the flavor without overwhelming the dish.
I might give this restaurant another try in the future to sample a different dish and provide a more comprehensive review. Some of the others in our group ordered various items, including appetizers. Personally, I find plain white rice, as well as the bland brown rice in my bowl, to be uninspiring. Rice should be cooked with broth and additional ingredients to make it flavorful."
