"Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and handed a menu, which offered a wide variety of options. There are definitely a few items I’d like to revisit and try. We were just there for salteñas—one chicken and one beef—so we placed our order.
One notable aspect was the very loud music, which didn’t quite create the right atmosphere for lunch or a romantic dinner. There was also a live DJ playing, which I thought was a nice touch, but at 4 PM on a Sunday, it felt a bit out of place. I would love to come back for a late dinner and enjoy dancing or hookah; I think it would make for a great experience!
After picking up our order, we headed back to the car but discovered that we had received the wrong items. We ended up with two chicken salteñas instead of one of each. We placed our order in Spanish, so perhaps the loud music made it difficult for the waitress to hear correctly. I also deducted a star because one of the salteñas was cold, which I noticed another patron complained about as well.
Despite the rocky start, I’m willing to give this place another shot, as the service was good and the warm salteña we did get was really delicious!"
