"It was our first time at the Bossa Nova Brazilian Cuisine Restaurant and we absolutely enjoy it. It has a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu has a lot to choose from pasta, pizza, salads, steak and more. We ordered the Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmigiana with linguine and a basket of fries. Food was great and portions are large. Will definitely be back to try other dishes. Parking: Street parking available. Small parking lot with limited space at the rear of the restaurant. "It was a nice restaurant but the sandwich I ate wasn’t amazing, it was okay. The truffle fries were delicious though! I wanted to try this potato appetizer but they didn’t have it available so I ordered another appetizer that looked like 3 empanadas. They were not that great wished I didn’t take the waiters recommendations. The service wasn’t the best. The restaurant only had about 4 other customers at the time but we weren’t checked on. We had to keep looking out for our waiter just to get the check, then to pay the bill itself took 10 minutes. The Bossa Nova sandwich wasn’t the greatest thing to eat. I would’ve been okay eating the fries by itself."

"I made a reservation for a party of six. The hostess attempted to seat my group next to a large flat screen tv with the sound blaring. My fiancé requested to have our group seated else where, the hosted became upset and rudely advised us to make up our minds. I allowed the disrespectful statement to slide and not make an issue. Once we were seated, a waitress took our drink orders and disappeared for the remainder of our meal. I had to track her down on three separate occasions to receive refills, order additional items, and receive the check. Upon my pleasant surprise, I discovered a $36 tip automatically attached to the bill. I do not mind tipping a waitress that is hard working and attentive, but I find it unreasonable to pay for lack of service and overall a poor experience with the staff. I have visited this location multiple times throughout the years and have never experienced such poor service. I will probably not return. If anyone from the restaurant reads this post, please provide your staff with etiquette and service training."
