"We were a group of 4 visiting this area of SF. It's rare to find a neighborhood, family owned restaurant with excellent food and service to this degree. We enjoyed every minute of our time here. We ordered the calamari as a starter best we've ever had and huge portions. Entrees were generous and expertly prepared; we each ordered something different and all 4 were served at the same time. Our server was an expert. Very moderate prices for SF. It doesn't get better than this."

"A FABULOUS RERUN. I didn't want to go back, because I loved it so much the first time....so glad we did!! I absolutely was NOT disappointed. We were greeted by Jason, Debbie visited with us and Alison waited on us. It was just as spectacular as Wednesday night!!! We had the scallops with prosciutto with chipotle sauce. I had veal Parmesan, husband had Gorgonzola veal, Zane Filetto Ti Amo. We then shared a red velvet cake/cheesecake. "I'm sorry to give a bad rating via and without, but I have no choice. the reservation I made with open table was confirmed 3 days before our arrival. Unfortunately no one told me that restaurant 2 had closed before. imagine showing up for a celebrity dinner to lock the doors and find the lighter out! and that was confirmed after the open table our reservation. they need to find out how to let the people know about big changes like this, someone, either more open table or the restaurant, should have reported to us."
