"I read several reviews before penning my own, and going to Mariner's Inn is akin to a roll of the ?: You either love it or loathe it. My sentiments skew towards the latter. We were greeted promptly on arrival, and the server took our orders. Two sweet teas, one water, one cheeseburger cooked medium with a side of veggies, and one order of mozzarella sticks. The cheeseburger arrived first with shredded American ? that was not melted on the patty. When I took a bite, I noticed two things: The burger lacked flavor (thank God for the onions), and the temperature was closer to rare. The mozzarella sticks were all right, but the side of veggies (yellow squash, squash zucchini, and onions) was another letdown due to lackluster flavor. We reminded our server about our cheese sticks and extra sweet tea after I received my burger (I think they forgot to put it in), but this was quickly fixed and brought to our table. As an added benefit, we weren't charged for those items. The atmosphere was as expected, and I don't have strong negative or positive thoughts. I also didn't notice a smell as other reviews have noted.Since this is my only experience with Mariner's Inn, I can't recommend them. However, feel free to try your luck."
