"Solid food. The service was seriously lacking, with staff being largely absent and inattentive: app forgotten, had to wait a long time to order drinks, no silverware when dishes arrived, nobody checked with us after the entrees arrived (or even when they were being picked up), waited for a long time to pay the bill and the server wouldn’t have picked up the check if I hadn’t stopped her before she walked away. I’m a big believer in respectfully providing feedback to restaurants, both positive and negative, and really would rather give that feedback in person instead of online. Restaurant folks work their tails off, and I truly appreciate what they do. I think it’s incumbent on diners to let restaurant managers know when things haven’t been great, so they can get better and stay in business in a brutally competitive industry. Unfortunately, I didn’t get that opportunity here. No one was around or paying attention at the end of our meal. We slowly walked to the front and even hung out at the host stand for a few minutes. No staff acknowledged our departure, so we left without giving feedback. To be fair, the manager didn’t charge us for the app, and folks were certainly friendly. We weren’t mistreated, just not paid attention to. It was a really frustrating experience. The kitchen is putting out awesome food. Front of the house needs work. Fortunately a very rare experience in Denver’s food scene."
