"If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. The chicken tenders were overcooked and dry, and the fries were soggy. The marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks tasted more like tomato soup than anything else. The homemade honey mustard sauce was odd and quite unappetizing."

"I searched google for gluten free and found this place. 0 stars Starting with the parking lot signage is confusing as it used to be a fast food restaurant with a drive thru.But we were starving Husband had very dry biscuits (days old or out of a freezer bag) and gravy was definitely out of can. Gravy covered the hash browns it came with too so the plate looked like slop. Not very appetizing.I’m GF so I asked what was available they have bread. I ordered the breakfast sandwich at 17.99 plus $2 for gluten free bread. It came with potatoes that were not GF and had the texture of frozen then deep fried potatoes. Coated with MSG… which has gluten. The bacon on my sandwich was paper thin and microwaved and probably had Gluten in it too.Service was less that great if someone orders gluten free ask is it’s a preference or an allergy. Know your products and don’t serve them Gluten. Thankfully it’s not an allergy for me.The bathroom was smelled like portable bathroom.Basically extremely overpriced fast food at sit down restaurant prices. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free"

"I'm from Chicago, but I absolutely love diners. I used to work at a gym nearby, and this place popped up on my feed. I was in the mood for a chicken salad (which they didn’t have), but what I ended up getting was even better! I ordered the Durango sandwich, which came with bacon, speck, guacamole, ranch, chili peppers, cheese, and maybe a few other ingredients. It was a fantastic sandwich! The waitress was also really nice. If you're looking for a great spot for breakfast or lunch (they serve breakfast all day), definitely give Kassidy's a try!"

"Since it was the last day of York's Restaurant Week, I decided to try one of their special offerings: the black and bleu buffalo burger. It was cooked perfectly and looked great on the plate. I think this dish should be added to the regular menu, though I realize they already have a lot of options. The price was reasonable too—just $12 for the burger and fries. The menu listed coleslaw as the side, but I received fries instead. While this is a minor issue, they should have at least informed me; I still would have ordered it, but servers should be fully transparent. Our server was fantastic—attentive and made us feel welcome. I'm glad we had one of the good ones. My fiancée ordered the turkey and Swiss croissant sandwich along with the cream of potato soup of the day. She absolutely loved the sandwich, telling me repeatedly that it was "fire." Considering she's very picky, this was a big win; I finally took her somewhere where she didn't just say "it's fine." She enjoyed the soup as well. Overall, this restaurant is a reliable staple in York City—a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner where you know you won't be disappointed. They do have a few quirks, but the quality of the food consistently leaves me feeling satisfied and happy."

"we stopped at this place on a road trip for my children and I was too early and I was not disappointed. my children decided that 9 o'clock is a good time to have a hamburger, and the waitress and cookers had no problem fulfilling this order. my taco omelett, while good, was plagued with too many olives. I love olives, but it was almost as if they had emptied a whole dose into my omelet. but I would like to come back and try others. I must note that the waitress was amazing and very thoughtful. she was great."

"The diner serves excellent food. I had a Mushroom Swiss burger piled high with mushrooms and cheese on a sturdy bun that could definitely handle a hearty burger. The side salad, which featured lettuce topped with a three-bean salad, was enjoyable as well. My husband ordered liver and onions, and if that's your preference, it was quite tasty. The portions are generous! Our waitress was very friendly too."

"I love Pappas! Salmon is the very best anywhere! And the Jacknife potatoes are great...but they seem to be getting smaller! My server didn 't seem to have been serving very long. He needs to know not to hand a wet glass of water to a seated client expecting the client to put it on the table. I could have dropped it since the glass was sweating. And the people picking up the used dishes...reaching 3 inches from my nose to pick up the dish rather startled me...no words like excuse me or anything. I forgave those issues but didn 't enjoy them. Don 't worry, I will be back despite those issues!"

"Very overrated! Ordered 3 eggs over medium with ham and 1 banana macadamia nut pancake! The eggs were runny, the ham had a huge bone in it leaving very little ham, and the pancake was raw, yes, raw batter in the pancake. Someone is in a hurry! I did love driving through the old mountain side neighborhood that the restaurant is located in. Beautiful historic buildings and homes. But, sorry to say, way overrated!"

"I used to visit this place as a little girl with my grandmother, who has since passed away. Now, I’ve brought my children and grandchildren here, and we all had a wonderful time enjoying our meals together.
