"The Brussels sprouts were soaked in oil, and the carrots were drowning in butter. After refrigerating them, we noticed the butter had solidified around the carrots, and the Brussels sprouts were literally swimming in oil. We ended up throwing that out as well. I had looked forward to this meal, and I can’t believe a well-known restaurant could disappoint us on Thanksgiving. I also felt embarrassed, having praised this place to our guests to ease their disappointment about not having a home-cooked meal. Additionally, all tables received the same small amount of cranberry sauce and gravy, regardless of how many people were dining. We were a party of five, which made the tiny bowl of gravy insufficient. When we asked for more, we were charged $2, and to top it off, they didn’t include it with our leftovers. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

"I attended a private, 40th birthday party there on 7/8 had an amazing time! The atmosphere, staff service were all beyond amazing!! The bartender was a true professional made the drinks strong, fast with a flair! Now the food... THE FOOD... IT WAS SPECTACULAR, EXCEPTIONAL UNBELIEVABLE! I had the salmon w/ burre blanc w/ lump crab meat it was by far the best salmon I've ever had. I tasted the steak with chimichurri it was also incredible! My onky complaint was the lack of sufficient air conditioning in the bar area. It was hot AF!!! That definitely needs to be fixed, but we still had a great time?"

"I visited this restaurant for brunch after it recently transformed into a new establishment a few months ago. It's a charming, upscale venue that feels welcoming rather than pretentious, complete with a great atmosphere and friendly service. Orkhan, the manager, attentively oversees everything to ensure that every diner has a fantastic experience. The food is fresh and flavorful, with generous portions that are beautifully presented. We enjoyed the mushroom omelet, which was exceptional, as well as the steak with French fries. For dessert, the sorbet was of very high quality and incredibly tasty. They also serve excellent cocktails. Overall, it's a delightful spot for a great meal, a date, or any special occasion."

"The food was good. The problem was we had booked via open table and has redeemed points, and when we arrived I told the hostess we had a booking via open table but she ignored or was just oblivious to this, so we go to pay and we find out because we were never checked in, the card didn’t work. Such a pain, so now I have to chase open table to try to get my points back. The Manager was good enough to take some money off, and I didn’t tip as I had a budget for the meal and with the $25 not honored, it wrecked my budget. The server was very nice and the food was great, just our lunch was kinda ruined by a checked out and incompetent hostess who just didn’t give a s*it."

"Nice restaurant and it's always a good experience. This place can get a bit pricey especially if you get drinks. They serve some amazing pre prohibition era cocktails. They usually only have one or two vegetarian dinner options available that change with the seasons but they are always really delicious. They also have a couple veggie sandwich options and their sandwiches are amazing. If you're vegan I think you might have to ask to tweak some dishes to not have diary but they're accommodating"

"We recently relocated from Kansas City, MO, to the East Coast and decided to take a train from Philadelphia to New York City for lunch at Blue Smoke. We were not disappointed! The ribs were served wet and very moist, while the chicken, seasoned with a dry rub, was perfectly cooked—something often hard to find elsewhere. The mac and cheese could’ve benefited from a bit more smokiness, but the sweet beans and excellent coleslaw made up for it. For an appetizer, we tried the Texas Twinkies and were so impressed that I plan to replicate them at home. I don't have much experience with white BBQ sauce, but I found it quite good on the chicken. The BBQ sauce had a North Carolina flair, which I also enjoyed. All in all, this is the closest experience we've had to Kansas City-style BBQ on the East Coast. We will definitely be returning!"

"The dessert of the day was outstanding—a caramel pot de crème topped with chocolate ganache and sea salt. It was honestly one of the best things I've ever tasted, though it was quite small! The lemonade was fantastic, but the biscuit was disappointing, resembling a large, overcooked dinner roll with too much yeast. The chicken fried chicken was mostly good, but some parts were burnt. The greens and potatoes were enjoyable. I should definitely remind myself to focus on dessert next time!"

"I've eaten my fair share of fish chips so I figured a give them a go here. They were very good, comparable to those I ate on our trip to Ireland. Service was good, and the patrons seem to be of the thirty something crowd (whatever that means). I also tasted the butternut squash ravioli and thought they were quite tasty too. I almost ordered the braised short ribs myself. They must be good because the guy sitting next to me spent a considerable amount of time scraping thelast bits off his plate."

"This place has disturbingly good pizza. It like blows you away how good it is, and you don't even expect it. But I keep coming back. I've never had a bad pizza here. The atmosphere is incredible. Feel comfortable there and everybody's so nice. Not to mention all the other dishes are good. Bathrooms are clean and there is even a little outdoor area that's very cute to eat at. Not to mention it has a drive-thru for pickup orders. Food: 5"

"We came for the 50 cent wings and $2 beers. We had smoked wings with no sauce because they brought 4 different types of BBQ sauce to choose from, and we also got the Buffalo wings. The smoked wings were the winner. We like our wings cooked HARD these were done completely, but we like a hard skin, so we took them home to finish them off with a little broiler action. We drank PBR for our $2 beer (Bud was the other choice)...kind of fun to go back in time with a pint in hand. We sat on the patio and it was quiet. Since we live in River City, it is only a 10 minute walk. Many specials check it out. The sign says Pork Chop, but it is listed as Chop on Open Table, it seems to me that was the original name when the restaurant opened, it was more steak centered then, so it is hard to find on the Open Table list."

"To be completely honest, I don’t drink coffee (I visited this place with a friend who does). However, I must say that the café, like many others, had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with the delightful aroma of coffee permeating the air. It was fairly busy, filled with aspiring writers typing away on their laptops, eager to be noticed (that’s one of my pet peeves). Despite this, the crowd was mostly made up of friends enjoying cheerful catch-ups in a pleasant setting. It’s a bit on the pricey side, so for coffee lovers, this place is definitely a must-visit – a true Mecca or mocha!"

"This is a fantastic small restaurant with amazing food! The ham in the omelet was particularly delicious, and the croissant French toast was a delightful surprise. I highly recommend this place. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for a brunch setting. Prices per person range from $10-20. Overall, I give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect score of 5."

"I booked an early dinner and wanted to try this place out for a while. After reading some of the reviews I was a little reluctant, but we were seated straight away. Ordered drinks, the bar was a bit slow but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties made to order, they brought fries instead of the candy but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The salad was fresh with two large strips of bacon. Overall, the food, the service and the ambience of the restaurant were somewhere between fair and good. Could give them another shot but wouldn't rush back."

"Drove 18 minutes away because we wanted something different…an hour later we got our food (the place was not busy) and it was subpar. Our food was cold, not flavored or fresh ; missing sides that never came out and not worth the drive or wait. Service was worse it was as if we were avoided and the older woman working at the register was a tad bit rude, restaurant smelled weird but the kitchen looked somewhat clean…so that’s a positive."

"Charming little diner with a friendly host who seated us promptly. Our food arrived quickly, and our server was impressive. Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. My chicken fried steak was quite unappetizing—tough and tasted stale. The bread for the French toast was also hard. It was a disappointing conclusion to what started off so well."

"We were pleasantly surprised by Dusty Trail Cafe Steakhouse. The atmosphere is fun with the taxidermy animals and the western decor. We went on a Sunday so we only experienced the Sunday Brunch menu. The food we selected was very good (Country Fried Chicken Eggs, Inside-Out BLT, Southwest Salad). We did have the BIG Cinnamon Roll and while it was large enough to feed the four of us we weren't as impressed with the taste. It lacked the gooiness you expect from a really good cinnamon roll. There was a lot of bread to it. While the cinnamon roll wasn't our favorite we definitely all agreed we'd come back based on our main choices. It would be fun to try their regular menu out if their Sunday Brunch offered such good options. We'd definitely recommend and will be back."

"Food was fantastic. Service was not as fantastic. Seems like a lot of folks in training which slowed down timing of meals. Was not dramatically busy and after certain point we poured our own wine. We were there for a birthday which was acknowledged by all the hostess but seems out waiters missed it. Neighboring table had candles w their dessert, out waiters missed it all together. With what you pay here details to both service and food is important and the details were not there in service. I know it’s hard labor market and it’s impacting the chefs great work here."
