"The food was mediocre, but the bathroom was absolutely filthy, which made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. The owner was sitting in the dining area, glued to her phone, chatting and watching videos instead of cleaning and sanitizing the restroom. The couscous was undercooked and barely had a tablespoon's worth on the plate. We had ordered dairy-free meals, but halfway through, we noticed some white cream. When we brought it to their attention, they insisted it wasn't dairy. When the cook came out, we asked him what it was, and he confirmed it was a dairy product. We reminded him that we had ordered it dairy-free, to which he replied, "Oh, I don’t know, I wasn’t paying attention." Thankfully, we caught the mistake. We requested a fresh dish, and they obliged. I also ordered a cheese pastry that arrived cold from the fridge and soggy on top. It was very disappointing. We understand that running a business is challenging, but there should be pride in the work, especially when it’s tied to your heritage. We both agreed that we would never return."
