"So this restaurant is off Menge Avenue, since it has been in the news so much just the exit we thought we would check out what the hoopla was and found this Mexican restaurant along the way.It was lunchtime and it wasn’t that busy so that was nice. Like most Mexican restaurants the menu is very busy. They did have fish tacos as a special today at 2.50 but we decided to order taco salads. The overall atmosphere of this restaurant is quite nice very clean. Our server. Was nice and pleasant, and our food came quite quickly, which was a bonus. The salsa was a little bit soupy. I personally like chunky salsa, but some people may like it this way. The steak salad was seasoned well but the bell peppers and onions were under cooked…. almost raw.The taco salad on the other hand was half chicken half beef, which was a specially order. It was very good and tasty. Did not try any alcoholic beverages, but they had a very well stocked bar.I would call this a very quaint, Mexican restaurant off the beaten path. The ladies bathroom was very clean, as was the whole restaurant. They do have high chairs. If you want to bring your children, I actually think it would be a good place to bring your kids.Vegetarian options: Pretty easy all you gotta do is just add cheese. No me do anything basically on the menu.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs, and since it’s not a huge restaurant, children would feel at ease plenty of things on the wall for them to look at and catch their attention.Parking: Parking is on the southside and west side of the building.Wheelchair accessibility: They have parking right up front. Big double doors to get a wheelchair in an out with ease."

"Driving by several times, we were never sure if this place was open or maybe just didn't exist anymore due to the unkempt nature of the outside. Looked it up and saw it was rated 4.4 and actually open so thought we would try it. Went for lunch today and were seated at an odd table in a booth that was so low, it touched out knees. They did move us after we asked. Looking around, the place was just dirty and nasty. Cob webs everywhere, the glass sign on the wall in the booth area was splattered with who knows what and peeling at the bottom. The place was just run down. The food was pretty subpar. I ordered a trio plate with your pick of several items listed on the menu so I asked for a burrito, chalupa and an enchilada. What I got was a tostada and 2 things that may or may not have been enchiladas. They were all chicken that was ridiculously salty. My husband ordered a combo plate and even though there was no chicken in his dish, he ended up with some type of chicken thing that probably was my chalupa. He agreed that the chicken was super salty! There wasn't an actual bill, we just went to the counter and he calculated our two items, which took longer than it actually should have for just two items, and came up with $28. Now my item was only supposed to be $8.99 and I didn't know what my husband's was until I asked him after we left, which was $14. So with only those two items, it should have been only $23. I wasn't in the mood to argue so I let it be. Overall, I wouldn't recommend or go back. If you're willing to take your chances, make sure you know what you're paying for when you pay the bill.
