"Our family has been shopping at Arandas Bakery for many years and enjoy everything about the store, the pastries, tamales, and breads. The pastries are not only delicious, but very well designed to appeal to the eye as well as the taste buds. We celebrated a recent family birthday with an Arandas tres leches cake, which was beautifully designed, and happily consumed. We love their tamales and empanadas as well. Every time we share both the chicken and pork tamales with friends they want to know where we bought them. We find them larger and better tasting than tamales you will find in the super markets, and as a bonus, they are less expensive. Arandas staff is always friendly and helpful, doing their best to make sure we find what we want. Few people realize the time and effort it takes to operate a business like this day in and day out. I am very grateful that there are dedicated people like these who are devoted to delivering a superior product at reasonable prices. They are truly a gift to Houston."
