"Bulla has been one of our favorite places for years but unfortunately things seem to have changed. I can only imagine that the place is under new management since our experience was so different. We went for dinner on Friday night and immediately notice a couple things. A big sign saying that they no longer accepted cash, just credit cards. The other was that it was much slower than it used to be on a Friday at 7:30, and we now know why. The food was still good outside the the churros we had for desert that tasted like freezer burnt twigs. The problem was everything else. The table‘s first round of drinks took nearly 30 minutes to arrive. The waitress apologized profusely several times and in the end, the drinks were comped. Remember… I said the place wasn’t very busy. My beer was brought to me in a can. Don’t think I ever had a can served to me in a nice restaurant. No glass, just a can. Our 2nd round of drinks took nearly 20 minutes and this time I was served a can, unopened. I don’t even believe that’s legal when you don’t have a package license. I guess I’m now going out to dinner only to open up my own beer. The worse part of the experience was that the restaurant seemed in a hurry to go home. At 9:20 they turned up the lights… you know, like when a bar turns up the lights to tell you they’re closing. Mind you, they close at 10. The check was hurriedly given to us and we felt pressured to pay quickly. We asked if we could order a round of drinks to take up to the rooftop bar and we got them oddly quickly this time. So at 9:30 we paid and took our drinks up to the rooftop…except the rooftop bar was closed… at 9:30 on a Friday night. Why bother having a rooftop bar? We took our drinks outside to a table on the street but before we could enjoy our drinks, employees started putting up the chairs and cushions all around us. We finally gave up and left. Always makes me sad when good restaurants stop caring about the guest experience and then wonder why business tank"

"The only thing I enjoyed about this place was the sangria! Everything else was mediocre and I am been generous. Food and service crappy. We order about different tapas but we didn’t enjoyed anyone of them. The croquettes were very small and over fried, the Spanish omelette was raw and tasted bad. I can get a better Spanish omelette at Montaditos. The dessert was also a joke. The tórrejas were crappy and didn’t taste like anything. Served with a ball of what is supposed to be ice cream but it tasted like condense milk. The churros were skinny and flavorless. The service was also a lot to desired, we saw the waiter at the beginning and at the end, however one of the manager was quick to pick up the credit card to run it through as they probably wanted us out of there for the next customers. I definetly do not recommend this place."

"This restaurant is undoubtedly the best in the near west suburbs. The food showcases a diverse Mediterranean flair, featuring tapas and mezze appetizers, bread served in charming Spanish tuna tins, and beautifully prepared entrees that are bursting with flavor. On the night I visited, I had the steak frites, and they generously seasoned those delicious potatoes with salt. The crispy pork belly is a must-try, and don't overlook the desserts either. The menu changes frequently, so it's worth coming back often. The atmosphere was vibrant, with a diverse mix of diners, and it has a welcoming, family-friendly vibe while still feeling upscale without any pretentiousness. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, showing a genuine passion for their work."

"we went to the restaurant for our reservation and were told we would sit in 10-15 minutes because they waited for server. the fire alarm went out all the time we were here, and thanks it did not sound, but that flash was not ideal. this was not recognized at all, although by one of the workers I found really strange. eating was really not great, and they were from one of their most popular dishes. at the end of our time we used the toilet room that was a few steps high. when we were up there, there was food everywhere, and it was very disgusting. then, when you went past the kitchen, there was also a tonne eating all over the floor. that was super disappointing when we hoped that a great place will be celebrated together before we went to the fuchs for a show. we will not go back!"

"I really enjoyed this restaurant, but there were a few significant drawbacks. The tables are quite small and very close together, which made it challenging to share the tapas dishes we ordered. It felt a bit like we were sitting with the couple next to us. It was a birthday celebration, and I had requested a nice table, but that didn’t happen. Additionally, a server accidentally dropped a platter right next to me, spilling pasta sauce on my leg and foot. While that was a bit of a bummer, I understand that accidents can occur. On a positive note, the manager was excellent and kindly comped our appetizer. Happy hour was also very generous! All the dishes we tried were delicious, and our server was wonderful. However, even with the complimentary appetizer and happy hour drinks, the bill surprised me—it felt quite pricey. Still, I’m giving it 4 stars because the food and service were outstanding."

"What a remarkable environment. The staff were not only knowledgeable but incredibly dedicated to their establishment. They served each customer committed to providing an exceptional experience. The cocktails were crafted very well, speaking as a scotch snob, I was truly impressed with the San Sebastián. The Zoko G&T tastes like vacation. The cuisine was also most impressive, compliments to the chef. It was what tapas is supposed to be. Closest thing to real Spanish cuisine you’ll find. Many thanks for a great experience. "Asere was a very good experience! The waitress was great! We were a group of 10 girls... I felt like it was overwhelming for the restaurant... Our food was very delayed. Ambiente was great, in a very popular location! Of all the girls I'd say half of us enjoyed our food. The drinks were great and strong. Overall for the price of food I think it was worth it, but if you were looking for great food I might look different somewhere. If you are looking for a place close to bars and inexpensive with a vibe this is your place"

"On a late Friday afternoon I starved. I moved out of the park and came to Paella Tapas Wine Bar Restaurant in downtown Norwalk, a city I had never been before. I came before they were opened for dinner, but they sat me anyway. The waiter helped me to order a glass of wine that turned out to be a delicious Rioja 92 by Wine Spectator. 2016 Marques de Caceres Reserva. Even at $15 a glass, a really good value and a welcome surprise. I ordered a salad with roasted red pepper, mozzarella, tomatoes and olive oil served with fresh, crispy salad. It could not have been refreshing. The waiter suggested to the shrimp with pure Cici beans. The pure beans were well seasoned with flavors that I could not quite recognize, but were very interesting and I would like to eat more. The six shrimps were perfectly carburized, but still moist and tender and garnished with strips of tarpaulins. I think the record was $12.95. Amazing. I had the orange flan for dessert, which came with stripes of orange peel marmelade and flavored with anise. I'm glad I ordered it. I ate alone in the bar, which was really nice and casual. The service was wonderful, the cook obviously was a real professional and the prices were extremely low for the quality of food they serve. The food in Paella was an unexpected treasure that I accidentally found in a city I never had before. It was the kind of meal you hope to go to a restaurant for the first time. What a stroke of luck. I can't wait to go back."
