"Este restaurante solia ser bueno. Hoy en dia los precios lo aumentaron por las nubes y la porciones de comida son como de sobras una orden a la 27 $19.99 2 pedacitos de carne asada 2 pedacitos de chancho 2 pedacitos de maduro 1 chorizo pequeno y dos miniaturas de queso y sin olvidar una cucharada y media con mucho aceite y recalentado . La milca increiblemente $5 cuando las 6 latas en laa marketas la venden por $5.99 basicamente a un dollar cada una .esta bien que le quieran ganar pero esto es un gran abuso y si no te das cuenta te cobran lo que no has consumido. El mejor restaurante que de verdad estan dando una porcion mas de lo que cobran super riquisimo todo y te sobra todabia para llevar y no se diga el famoso cacao .la milca menos d $2.50 100% recomendable SABOR NICARAGUENSE situado por la western. La 27 y portobanco no hacen una comparado a este restaurando ... Pierde clientes por unos cuanto dolares y baja calidad ."

"How the mighty have fallen. Plantain chips were done in burnt oil with a strong plastic flavor. Churasco tasted like lighter fluid or camping fuel. Rice had an after taste that I couldn't quite place. My kids who always love this food couldn't overlookthe flavors. My wife who loves the rice couldn't get more than a couple of fork fulls before stopping in disgust."

I love that you provide generous portions for the price, which is very different from other expensive restaurants where you only get a small serving. The food was absolutely delicious! My family members, who are food enthusiasts, can’t stop raving about the Fried Chicken, Ropa Vieja, and Moro. When I asked them if they were satisfied, they all said 100%! "I had the churasco chicken, veggies, cheese, and tostones, along with some lemonade, and it was absolutely delicious! I truly loved the flavors of the food, and it smelled amazing as soon as it arrived at the table. The meal cost $18.25, and there was an additional charge of 99 cents for the tostones. Including tax and tip, the total for two people came to $48.56, which felt a bit pricey for what we had. I suppose that’s just how it is in Miami!"

"I wanted to place an order of the Nicaraguan platter as I didn't want to cook on December 31st. What a big disappointment it was to place an order from this place. First this platter came with food that typically Nicaraguan platters don't come with. The platter is described as Grilled steak, blood sausage, grilled pork, sausage, green plantains, refried beans with sour cream, chicken tacos, sweet plantains, fried pork with yucca, fried cheese, corn tortilla and cole slaw. Well it came with rice and beans not with refried beans, also it came with chicken wings never have I seen that in any Nicaraguan platter, and I've been to the best here in Miami which is El Madroño, Pinolandia and Guayacan. I place the order here because it was the only place taking orders and now I know why. The worst Nicaraguan Platter. Meat was so hard, nothing had any flavor. Never again ordering from this place. I don't recommend this place to anyone."

"I placed an order through DoorDash, when the food got here one of the orders did not have the main part of the dish which is the Steak! I immediately called the restaurant and advised that one of the orders was missing the main part of the dish which again was the meat. The lady I spoke to on the phone advised me that they were going to resend me the order through Uber East, from afar I hear the other lady saying that they will have to pay for that out of pocket and the lady on the reassured her that she knew and she was going to pay for it. 2 hours late I'm still here waiting for it to be delivered so I called the restaurant, a lady picks up the phone and I let her know that I'm still waiting for the meat. She then tells me that she has called DoorDash and advised that the whole order was delivered. When I questioned her as to why she would lie to DoorDash she then tells me that two other employees were supervising the orders...so in other words I'm a liar. Why would I call and question why the meat was not delivered? Bec careful ordering from this place. They promise things and don't comply and then after make you feel like you're in the wrong and delusional. NEVER AGAIN!"

"Frankly, this location is not as bustling as the Pinolandia 24/7 Fritanga down the street. With that being said, Yambo is a Nicoya staple. The indoor seating area and bar feel like you are in a fritanga back home. The prices are unbeatable, buckets of 6 Toñas for $30, a sampler plate that feeds a whole table. Where else can you say Selena Quintanilla and Hulk Hogan enjoyed some central American food? I like stopping in with family or out of town guests for the ambiance and colorful decor. If you are looking for faster service, try Pinolandia, but if you want an authentic sit-down experience, come to Yambo."

"We were in the area and decided to stop by. We live about an hour away and have recently moved from Miami. The food here is definitely different from what we were used to. The prices seemed a bit high for the portions provided. The meat was somewhat tough, and there wasn't enough rice. The cheese had hardly any flavor. We hadn't had any fritanga since moving from Florida, and we were let down. This isn't what we were hoping for; while the food looks great in pictures, it fell short of that authentic Nicaraguan taste."
