"I pass Dosey Doe on the way to work but had thought it was just a place for live music and bar food. On a whim a friend and I met others there for a lunch. The diningroom was empty one other table had a gentlemen finishing his meal. I was hoping it was just quiet due to an earlier lunch (11:30). Our waitress was quick to the table, dropped off menus and took our drink order (sweet tea, please) and zipped back to her stations. We reviewed the ALL DAY BREAKFAST menu with hints of our Cancun vacation (migas) and elevated fare (benedict) alongside the old timey favorites of chicken fried steak with pepper gravy. I was torn as the other side of the menu promised BBQ and a slew of other southern lunch favorites. Smack in the middle is the promise of a sweet Argentinian empanada with fruits and cream. We had the chicken fried steak and gravy with biscuit, the eggs benedict and brisket and pulled port tacos. We started with the chicken fried steak bites with gravy for dipping because....yes. I wish now I had taken pictures, but we were hungry and it was smelling awesome. The meal came out quickly and it was AMAZING. The BBQ was a mix of lean and fatty brisket in two taco and the pork butt in the other. The right amount of smoke the meat was tender and delicious. It was garnished with onions, cilantro and lime with a side of BBQ sauce and a creative derivation on succotash. It had corn and peppers and tomato and was charred to perfection. The benedict seemed a little...homey with the sauce covering a very well contained egg on the english muffin and the hashbrowns were divine. The chicken fried steak covered the plate, as it should and was smothered in gravy. The fresh, hot, steamy, fluffy biscuit was delivered with some fan fare. All in all, we were thrilled with lunch and there were far too many items on the menu that I need to try. Trying (not hard enough) to get a group back for a Sunday brunch hoping it's not too busy. Oh...and the decor was a fun mix of vintage vibes. Mobile pegasus, old radios, dark and brooding. Can't say I'd like it different for it being a whiskey bar another element to try."

"This place lost 3 stars just because of what came out of the kitchen...TWICE! The remaining 2 stars are for the people serving us, which were amazing. My experience there was great, other than the food. Kind of an important part of an eating establishment...no?! I ordered the Santa Fe Omelet if memory serves me right. It is supposed to have chorizo in the omelet. The first one I received had ZERO chorizo in it. Literally, the ingredient the dish is focused around. I got through about 1/3 and couldn 't find any. I opened it up, and none could be found. It 's not okay for $16 plate to not have one of the primary components. I told the server and she came back with, the chef forgot what was supposed to be in it . So she requested another one. The next one I got was still difficult to find the chorizo. It was there...but barely. Literally had to search through the omelet to even find pieces. It had no discernable flavor since there was barely any and completely overpowered by the fresh jalapeños. We live about an hour away and just doing a stop in town for another appointment. I can 't say that I would go out of my way to come here again. I 'm certain they have other good dishes, but their kitchen clearly needs more training and understanding that they are ultimately the purpose we walk through the doors. Great customer service from your servers will only get you so far. Fortunately ,the waitress could sense my displeasure from the dish and she took it off our bill. I was pleasant and patient about it and I think that went a long way for her. So thank you again to your servers for being observant and courteous."

"Today after years of eatting Bo's for breakfast. I was highly disappointed with my food and the way I asked for it well done. So I just asked for it to be re-done and the cook which is one of the managers was being mouthy about having to remake it. Then I talk to the other owner and he didnt show any care to fix the problem. I just wanted my food right and to not have the person fixing it to be upset about not doing it right the first time. I have always loved eatting there but I wont be going back unprofessional and was very rude. When working in the customer service field we need to do better how we treat our customers. Regardless of how you feel Chris or whatever you heard I was disappointed and if I wanted my whole meal made over because it was wrong it should of been without any lip from your employees Also who wants a whole skillet put back on grill thats been mixed all together now the eggs are over cooked and all just because it wasnt done right and instead of satisfying the customer you wanna give attitude and just slap it all back on there. Well no Sr. That was not what I wanted or asked for and I explained that to Tom. What should of happened was I'm sorry let me get this remade for you ma'am that would of been fair for me Chris as a customer. Who wants someone talking smack re making their food. So once I seen noone care about him being rude nor making my food the correct way I said just refund me. Why cuz that was the only satisfying opition."
