"I had walked past Pita Pit several times and finally decided to try it tonight. I inquired about the menu, specifically the gyro since that’s what drew me in. I also mentioned it was my first visit and asked about some of the items. Unfortunately, the staff offered no assistance with my choices. That was okay, as I understand customer service and don’t mind when customers are unsure. However, I felt rushed throughout the experience and soon realized why. My order was prepared in just three minutes, but it was cold and lacked flavor. Meanwhile, the two gentlemen who ordered before me were still waiting for their food. The cashier wore the same gloves while handling their orders, processing mine, swiping both credit cards, grilling and wrapping my gyro, placing it in the bag, and handing it to me— which was concerning. Immediately after, I went next door to grab a slice of pizza. On my way back to the car, I noticed the two employees hanging out out front, listening to music with the customers who had received their carefully made orders. I’ve never written a review about service before, but after sharing this with my adult children, they insisted I should speak up. I live only five minutes away but, unfortunately, I probably won’t be coming back."
