"Yeah…I know…a 5 out of 5. But nostalgia and taste really do align with locals when it comes to Woody’s. If you grew up in the outer Lansing area in the Aughts…it was our first taste of hummus before weight watchers deemed it the healthiest pairing to 0 point options (no dig, it’s true! Point being…in my 30 years, Lansing has opened its doors to an incredible tapestry of culinary endeavors I’ve been fortunate enough to witness and taste. I can only hope this is a sign that our community is opening not just its palette…but it’s mind. I was forutunate enough to be reminded of what an impression Woody’s made on me when I lived in said “Lansing bubble” where Taco Bell was my first introduction to eating Al fresco. Thank you Marie for reminding me of what an impression and trailblazer woodys has been in my life and our community!… …and for the extra piece of namoura."
