"Excellent experience. Mike's catered an event for us and everyone was delighted with the quality and quantity of the food. The delivery was on time and everything tasted fresh. There was so much food that we didn't even notice that we were missing a tray of fruit. Unbeknownst to us, Mike realized the oversight and went back to the restaurant to retrieve it. We appreciated the extra miles, literally, he put into it to make sure we were happy."

"Our group ordered the hummus trio, lots of pita and I got the falafel salad. The falafel did not have a lot of flavor, but the salad itself was crisp and delicious. I did not like the dressing that came with the salad so I used the hummus as dressing instead. The pita and hummus were very good, and we ordered a lot of extra pita. I’d say the roasted red pepper was their best of the three hummus options. I’ve yet to try the grilled veggie wrap (not the falafel wrap), but I’ve heard it’s good. I’ll give this place another chance when I go back and order a wrap instead, but I’m not a fan of their falafel."

"I went here a few times but after the first few times the quality of the food keeps going down. I order the same thing every single time. I just got take out from there today. The potatoes were not fully cooked, the carrots of the steamed vegetableswere hard, there was a bone in my salmon, and my pita bread was cold. I feel like this is discrimination."

"My wife has been coming to this restaurant since her college days and really wanted to take me. We had a wonderful time with very friendly staff and owner. I tried the chicken kebab wrap and it was delicious. My wife had the aubergine stew, which she absolutely loves. I also tried her falafel a la carte and it was excellent. The hummus and garlic sauce were phenomenal as well. We are excited for our next visit and would highly recommend this place."

"As we were getting seated the manager pulled our host aside and started chewing him out about something. We finally got seated and the atmosphere was great. Server came and took our drink orders. About minutes later brought us waters. minutes after that he took our food orders. It was an hour before we received our first drink and we only got one out of We had to go down to the bar to get the other two ourselves. Never had our waters refilled. When the first drink came they brought out our appetizer and one person's meal. About minutes later they brought two other people's meals. One of them was wrong and missing items. One person didn't receive their meal at all. Server was confused as the order was chicken and waffles and he said it was a sandwich, which it clearly was not. Told them to cancel that meal so that person didn't eat. They offered to pay for our drinks, which in hours we got round. Will never come back."

"Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, I was promptly seated on the patio which I requested. Ordered the baba ganoush and a Greek salad. Having never tried ganoush, I thought it had good flavor and texture similar to hummus. The Greek salad looked amazing, other than the large cucumbers, but the taste was a little disappointing as it didn't have any dressing to enhance the flavors.I also ordered a gyro that had good flavor, but I found it on the small side, especially considering the price.Overall I found the atmosphere and service very satisfying, I was slightly disappointed in my food selection this particular day."

"After many visits over the years, this review is long overdue! I travel all over the Valley, and whenever it's time to eat, I try to find one of the 20 Pita Jungle locations for a quick, light lunch. I enjoy the fresh food and absolutely LOVE the teas they offer, especially the green tea. Lately, I’ve been frequenting the Pita Jungle at Frank Lloyd Wright and Thompson Peak more often than other locations. One of the items on the seasonal menu was a fantastic, loaded taco for $3, which was perfect for a light, healthy lunch. Unfortunately, the taco was removed from the menu, but my server, Lara L., offered a special option that’s even better than the taco I enjoyed so much. It’s a toasted pita loaded with moist, tender chicken, pine nut roasted red pepper hummus, and topped with red tomatoes. It's become my new perfect light lunch! Thank you, Lara L., for the great service and the wonderful food suggestion!"

"Haven't had Pita Jungle in a while so I decided to try out this location. My bf and I had 2 delicious wraps, service was quick, food was good. We added some baklavas for dessert, but upon biting it I felt something weird in my throat. It felt hard so I immediately tried to spit out. It was like pieces of a plastic thread. My bf took a bite of his right after and found it on his too. I broke down the third one with my hands and found more. We were obviously disappointed but we know accidents happen. I was concerned I saw it in more than one though, since it could be a choking hazard so I called the restaurant to let them know. The girl that answered just wanted to send me to the manager but after telling her I wasn't going to complain she said thanks for letting them know. No info asked about when was the order or anything so I just hope they did check their stuff for other people's safety."
"Although I didn't visit the restaurant itself, I had the opportunity to try their food truck when it stopped in my neighborhood. I had never tasted their food before, but I had heard great things about it. Everything was fresh and delicious. I especially loved the garlic fries, and the jalapeño cilantro hummus was absolutely outstanding! I didn’t care for the chicken gyro I ordered, but that was just my personal taste. On the other hand, my husband really liked his steak gyro. I would definitely go back just for the hummus; it was that incredible!"

"I called in an order at 4:00 on a Sunday afternoon. The place was not busy at all, only three tables with individuals eating. I ordered just two gyros. Not a hard order. Arrived 15 min later and waited another 20 for my take out. Looked like plenty of staff available as they were walking around joking and laughing with each other. Saw at least five different employees come from the kitchen area. Got my gyros home, unwrapped and was definitely disappointed. Have eaten at the Scottsdale location many times and always satisfied and the portions generous. I won?t go to this location again. Yes that?s the tiny tomato slice on each."

"Nice little cafe with a good selection of Mediterranean food. We were seated quickly and the rest of the service was fairly quick, even during a busy lunch time. We started with the hummus appetizer and then got two wraps which we split between us Chicken Tawook and Falafel (fried). Each of the wraps came with a small container of hummus and a pita wedge. Nothing fancy in presentation, just the wraps in a basket with the pita tucked underneath. We both preferred the chicken over the falafel. We will return and explore more of the menu"
"The restaurant is quite convenient and the food is good with no complaints. I usually order the hummus (try different flavors to find your favorite) and the falafel. I've had several falafel sandwiches, which are always satisfying. The bean and rice dish is flavorful, and I enjoy the seasoned potatoes—mix them with their hot sauce for an extra kick. However, I really wish the black bean burger didn't contain milk; it's a bit puzzling. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, and the location is excellent. If you're coming from the 101, head north on Tatum; you'll find Pita Jungle in a strip shopping center on the west side of Tatum, right across from a U.S. Bank. There's plenty of parking available. The bartender who assisted me during my visit could have been better—he seemed a bit off. I’m big on customer service, and this experience felt more pretentious compared to other Pita Jungle locations in the valley, which I didn't appreciate. But that’s Scottsdale for you, I suppose. If you focus on the food, you’ll be just fine."

"A recent experience cemented our family's decision to move onto other restaurant options, in spite of it being a long time favorite. Service was poor, food was not what was ordered in clearly obvious large piece of Turkey in a vegan wrap! One daughter ordered a turkey wrap and the other ordered a tofu wrap. They must have been making them side by side and dropped a very big piece of rolled up turkey into the vegan wrap. Had they apologized and resolved the issue right away it would still have been disappointing for a restaurant that has a vegan menu! However, they were rude and implied that we put the turkey in the vegan wrap ourselves for some reason? Made no sense and was beyond infuriating that they didn't even admit to their mistake. Never going back!"

"This review is based on a Delivery review through Grubhub, not a pick up or dine in. Short Story Good food, excellent way to handle a situation, will go there to dine in as well as order from again. Long story: I placed the order probably around 11:05AM (Sunday), got the email saying it was being worked on and left it at that. After waiting till the time it was supposed to arrive, I noticed the delivery time had changed by 20 minutes. Ok, no problem, my toddler can hang in there for another 20 min. The 20 mins were up so I reached out to customer service to see if there was an issue. Apparently they had gotten the order late but they couldn't give me a time of when it was going to be delivered. I really wanted to wait but my kid was really hungry so I told them to cancel the order and I'd try them again next time. No harm no foul, things happen. I went out to buy a quick lunch, started eating with the family and, about 30 min later, someone was knocking on the window with the food. When I spoke with the delivery person, I told him that he should take the food back because I had cancelled the order and had already bought another lunch. He was confused so he called the restaurant. I couldn't make out everything that was being said but I made it clear that if they insisted I take the food, I wasn't going to pay. They told me to keep the food and said I didn't have to pay. I asked if he was sure I feel bad because I know how slim margins are for restaurant and made a note to order from them again a couple of times. I sat down, open the food and we took nibbles of the order. Food was great and now I feel worse. My wife and I agreed that this'll be the restaurant we order greek food from moving forward. I wish more restaurants were like this. Will definitely dine in and order from again. Service: Delivery Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Recommended dishes: Chicken Gyro Platter"

"Amazing fresh, Mediterranean food can def be found here! I was in the mood for some patio dining and this served up that need. Add in a great dinner and it’s not a case of the Monday’s here!! We started with some Falafel and their roasted red pepper hummus which was both fresh, light and tasty. Then I did the Chicken Tikka Masala as my main entree which was a great choice. While it didn’t come with a pita, I still asked for one on the side. It was a refreshingly, spot on Tikka Masala! My only gripe is their lack of Mediterranean hot sauce. They only offer Sriracha which was ok but not the heat I was looking for. Plenty of strip mall parking and hopefully we can head back sooner than later!"
"Pita Jungle is always a highlight every time I'm in the Phoenix valley. They have such a range of fresh and delicious options. Their gluten free menu is extensive, and I love the attention that take to making sure they avoid cross contamination as someone with celiac disease that gives me a ton of confidence. I came here two days in a row and had their gluten free spicy chicken bowl, the hummus trio with GF pita, and the GF pesto turkey wrap with a greek salad. I'd happily recommend any of that. The bottom line is that this place is great, go here, order a lot. You'll be happy you did."

"We went for dinner at this restaurant while visiting Las Vegas. This is located just outside the strip approximately 3 miles from the strip. We ordered a falafel bowl and a falafel plate. Although the website says that there are differences, the staff said that both are the same. The plate has basmati rice, 6 falafels, green salad, sumac onions, spicy pickled carrots, chickpeas, red and green sauce, tahini and tzatiki. I also added the eggplant stew for an additional dollar. The food was really tasty and the falafel was properly fried and seasoned well. The portion size was huge. One drawback was that the staff was kind of hurrying us while ordering. Another issue was that the staff was not handling the order correctly. Our friend has ordered a chicken kebab. The staff were prioritizing other orders that came after them instead of serving them first. This lack of discipline and demonstration of bias is not acceptable at all."
