"When I made the reservation at Pomodorino I made it through Open Table. NEVER AGAIN!!! We arrived before our reservation time and the restaurant had no record of our reservation made thru Open Table. I had my confirmation number but it didn't matter because they had no record of our reservation. The manager Bonnie was very apologetic about not having our reservation and said that this has happened before with Open Table reservations. The restaurant was packed but we were lucky that it was still early. She said she would accommodate us but unfortunately we had to sit at a table for and we were only people! Our appetizers came and a table for opened up and we were able to move to smaller table. I understand that the restaurant pays for your service and I hope that you don't collect anything from them. This was a very upsetting experience for us and because of this will never use Open Table again. We enjoyed the restaurant and would recommend Pomodorino"

"Tremezzo is fantastic. We went for a late Sunday lunch. We ordered the burrata caprece for an app; burrata and tomatoes were very fresh. The server offered fresh cracked pepper as well. Chicken parm was great, 5 stars; the portion was huge, chicken was cooked perfectly, HUGE amount of mozzarella, fresh pomadoro sauce as well. A kids pasta with butter was ordered; the portion was great, freshly grated cheese was offered. The kids dish came with an ice cream as well, all for $9. The short rib bolagnese was rich, very meat forward with large chunks of short rib. Service was perfect... multiple people running plates, refreshing old plates, refilling water, super friendly. I can't think of anything I could have asked for differently. A well earned 5 stars. Parking: Tons of parking available Kid-friendliness: A separate, very affordable kids menu is available."

"It took a long time for us to receive water or drinks, and the cocktail was not great—served warm and tasted watered down. I ordered the beet carpaccio salad, but it came out without cheese or carpaccio; instead, it was just a house salad with a few chopped beets, which was not at all what I expected. The calamari was inedible—hard and flavorless, and it didn’t seem homemade. Fortunately, the entrees (sole francais, a white pizza with prosciutto, and a fettuccine special with scallops and lobster) were very good with generous portions. Our server was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the evening. Overall, it was good but fell short of the potential experience. Dietary restrictions: The gluten-free pizza was very good. "we ordered two dishes we had several times. the last couple of times they weren't good. the alfredo court has many pasta, but small sosse and little seasoned. I always like the taste of the huh and the last couple were dirty. even the noodles were hard and had to cook more. the bayonet was with very little spicy and more. I miss this place when mom and dad ran. dad wouldn't send such a court out of his kitchen. we order doordash and it doesn't matter to pay any extra fees, but if that is not on the spot, we will, make me new think my next order. I'm sorry, we love you, but it must be better."

"Excellent Customer Service. Great pizza. They just need to sell pitchers of beer ?. PizzAmore wasn't our first choice but they will be from now on when visiting Albany. This experience actually started over at Abby's down the road......Abby's lost out on a 300 sale because of HORRIBLE customer service. It started outside in the parking lot. We all just got finished hiking and decided to have a beer before going inside and ordering. We were scolded by an employee and told not to be drinking beer in the parking lot. I understand the law and don't understand why the pizza place employee was so concerned about us drinking outside. They didn't serve us the beers so if anything it's a public intox with no liability to the restaurant. Then we went inside to order and the cashier wanted physical ID for everyone who would be drinking beer. Everyone had ID on them but one was a picture on a phone and the cashier said it wasn't good enough. After providing everyone else's ID and verifying we were all of age (none of us are under 33) one in our party wouldn't have been able to participate. So we left. We took our and went to PizzAmore. We received welcoming open arms there, EXCELLENT customer service AND no ID check because clearly everyone wqs older then the 21 year old that took our order. PizzAmore had delicious food and we spent well over 200 almost 300 there. Thanks to the Abby's Pizza lady we had an even better experience where we were wanted and appreciated. 0 stars for Abby 5 stars for PizzAmore ??"
