"Nonnas sauces are not second and I rate it 5, because it is rated as top as some of the best New York City restaurants I've ever been. Your cook will work with you to adapt any of the dishes you choose to suit your special needs. Don't miss this great place!"

"We came for my boyfrienda birthday. It was extremely disapppointing. The food was awful and over priced. There was also limited selection. The caesar salad was terrible and full of the ier yellow lettuce that made it bitter. I hadnt been to the restaurant for years and it has significantly gone down hill. I was speaking to an acquaintance and he had the same opinion.Service was ok but slow. Actually the busboy forget to give one of us water and when we asked for it, he argued with us and said he did give it.Truly was a waste of moey but more importantly ruined the birthday celebration."

"We were recommended to give this place a try while in Little Italy. It was right between lunch and dinner but they allowed us to take a table for service rather than putting in an order. They had coke products and a wine list that caught our attention. We ordered cheesy garlic bread for appetizer. The bread was tasty and the marina was warm. I only had room for a small salad but did elect to put chicken on it. The Cesar salad was chilled and had flavor the chicken was as cold and came from a can (or at least that’s what the taste reminded me of). The price of that small salad and chicken was around $18.00 which I thought was a little much. My husband ordered the pizza two options of the Margherita Tomato Ricotta Rosemary. He enjoyed it (we took it back with us and ended up eating on it the next day for lunch). Overall, there are many options for Italian places in Little Italy give it a try and see what you think. We will continue to try new places."

"Great dine-in vibe and feel. Food was really good, although outside of pizzas their food is below average, for the money (or expensive for what it is, if you prefer). Service was okay at best but there's plenty of staff so I will give the benefit of the doubt. It's called Pizza and Brew, folks. You'll love staying in for the pizzas and the brews, atmosphere is awesome. There's everything for everyone in there. I look forward to going there again. Kid and family friendly!"

"Visit this place at least once a month. This time their house dressing was almost straight vinegar. Normally the food, any of it, it really good. We've tried several dishes and have not had a bad one yet that I can recall. The restaurant is always clean and it can get very busy and you'll find a 30 to 45 min wait. Service does fluctuate from average to excellent."

"I was hungry so I googled Italian dishes around me and VITO Pizzerias Restaurant showed up, so I figured I'd gave them a try for the first time. I ordered a Penne Vodka a Spaghetti Meatballs. It's was the WORST two so called Italian DISHES I've ever had in my life. The meatballs were super warm freezer frozen taste .. mixed with pasta with warm can tomatoe sauced and the penne wasn't mixed properly it was s random mix of marinara and heavy cream ..very bad ?"

"we were a party of 6 and have sung here before. our waitress was very attentive, but the 4 pizza entrees came out 30 minutes after the 2 pasta dishes and were cold. not only did it blew up the table waiting for the food of all, so we could eat together, but the quality of the food was bad, as the pizza was slightly burned. When we drew attention to the waitress, she offered to put them back in the many to heat them up even though they were already burned. will not go back, very expensive for very little value and overall very bad experience."

"If I could give C'Era Una Volta Kitchen Catering 10 stars, I would without hesitation! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with the kind of warmth and hospitality that only a true Italian gentleman like Rudy, the owner, can provide. Meeting Rudy was a highlight in itself—he's not just passionate about his craft, but also genuinely cares about his customers' experience. But let’s talk about the food because it’s nothing short of spectacular. I put my trust in Rudy and let him choose my lunch, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. He crafted a salad with toast points that were both fresh and flavorful with fresh Mozzarella and tomatoes with a balsamic dressing that was amazing, setting the stage for the main event: ravioli with a meat sauce that was simply out of this world. Every bite was a testament to Rudy’s dedication to authentic, high-quality Italian cuisine. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere cozy and inviting, and the food—oh, the food! Rudy is an absolute gem, and his restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves great food and an even greater dining experience. This place is an instant favorite, and I can't wait to return! It's a small space for dining in but worth the out-of-the-box experience."

"The person who recommended another pizza joint, which was fantastic... Truly like what you get in Brooklyn or Connecticut, also recommended Papa Gio's, so we gave it a try. To be charitable it wasn't even up to the standard of Domino's, and I hate Domino's. The crust was thick and underdone, sauce was so flavorless you couldn't tell it was on the pie. Toppings were sparse and grocery store frozen pizza like. It might have been better if they had at least left it in the oven longer. The mussels were way overcooked and the veal Parm was all breading and cheese. 80$ worth of food and 90% of it went in the trash. I should have known better when I saw how many items were on the menu, way too many to do any one thing well."

Went again the next day with a group of 15 people for lunch after a funeral. With 1 1/2 hrs notice they set us up with great food and service. Very fair price. We will b bck. These guys are rock stars..."

"I absolutely adore this restaurant! The pizza is fantastic, and the food is consistently excellent. We've been coming here for years, and the service is always top-notch, with my waitress being particularly welcoming. My favorite dish is the Tuscan chicken, and they have the best bacon ranch pizza anywhere. We've visited multiple times and have loved it every single time. Just last weekend, we hosted my son's graduation party, and everyone kept asking where the food came from—they enjoyed it so much! I simply told the staff how many people we had and left it to them to handle the order. We ended up with an abundance of food, and even had some leftovers. Plus, I found the pricing to be very reasonable. I know I’ll be hosting all my future parties here. I highly recommend this pizzeria/restaurant! P.S. The pita bread they serve is absolutely delicious; I always ask for extra when I order so I can freeze it for later."

"Got takeout twice while visiting family and was quite pleased. Great selection of food and it’s not only presented nicely, but delicious. Portions are perfect and often enough for leftovers. My non-veg Dad also enjoyed it. Staff super nice too. Easy to order online. Prices are good. Good location with ample parking nearby. Will definitely be back the next time I visit."

"Here we go again...... This USED to be one of our favorite Italian places we went quite often. It has changed hands evidently not sure how it's going to be based on today's visit. We ordered a large pizza and meatball appetizer. The meatballs had hardly any flavor was mushy. The pizza (ground beef mushrooms) had hardly any sauce on it and the meat had no flavor. The crust was good and the pizza was much better when I tried it with some sauce from the meatballs. At least it has some flavor that way. We arrived at 11:10 am and the doors were still locked. They were supposed to open at 11:00. Our server acted like she was not happy to be there or waiting us. No smile nothing. I doubt we'll go back"

"I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my recent experience at this restaurant. Yesterday, my boyfriend ordered pizza from here and it arrived with the cheese completely off the pizza. He sent it back and received a new pie promptly, which was great. However, the pizzeria is now accusing him of making the delivery driver uncomfortable. Both his brother and I were present in the room and heard the interactions - he simply apologized for sending the pizza back and thanked her when she returned. I'm not sure what's happening at this place, but it seems like they need a reality check."

"We found Listrani's catering menu online, and reached out to see if they could do a last minute catering delivery for a school trip in McClean. They were super flexible, accepted our tax-free school EIN, and accommodated our changing schedule at the very last minute. We had 30 high school students and chaperones, and purchased two orders of Chicken Tenders and Fries, one pan of macaroni and cheese, one large Caesar Salad, and Listrani's even through in some Foccacio on the house. We were here on a coach bus, so they delivered to our hotel, and included all of the paper products and condiments we needed for free. The food was delicious, affordable, ample, and the students all approved. If you are visiting the area and looking for an easy big group order, your best choice is Listrani's! Kid-friendliness: For large group school/team catering, they have delicious chicken fingers, fries, and macaroni and cheese that even the adults will like!"

"my friend and I have fallen a few months ago at this place for lunch. we sat in one standing and it was very spacious. we ordered the root bear glazed ribs, large white pizza and the Mediterranean chicken-pita tacos. the root beer glazed ribs were babyback pork ribs with a root beer glazing. it came with a side of sriracha cole Slav. it was very delicious. the large white pizza came with grilled chicken, mushrooms, garlic, parmesan cheese and tomato in a Alfredo sauce. the pizza came a little cold, but it was still delicious. the Mediterranean chicken-pita-tacos came in two. the grilled pita came with grilled chicken, tomato, gurken, red tweepers, feta cheese and Greek yogurt. it also came with a side of quinoa. the sandwich tasted good, but I wish it was served hot or even warm. Overall, eating was very good, but I wish some of the items were not served cold."

"We ordered piccante pizza, short rib pasta and Nutella donuts. The pizza was inedible (too much cheese, dough too thick and they made a mistake and topped it with sausage instead of shishito peppers. and I say that as someone who LOVES pizza. Pasta and dessert were excellent though. The pizza was just THAT bad. I ate one slice and literally threw out the rest."
