"I order from over the phone all the time so I decided to come into the store and pickup instead of having it delivered the girl made me wait for a whole 45 minutes. White girl at the counter me black girl I think she wanted me to get brolic with her because of the wait. no I wasn’t but the food was for a friend she let me wait a whole 45 minutes and called my food out and gave me cold food on purpose then when I called and told her she was wrong all she could say was bring the food back and we’ll refund you or make it again no I shouldn’t have to that was disgusting and discrimination at its best! All the years I’ve ordered from here sad to say won’t be ordering from here any longer especially if they have a racist white person taking their food orders. Pictures of the cold food below and the chicken wasn’t even done this really hurt my heart because i really loved this place now I won’t be eating from here anymore ?"

"I order the Dubai strawberry cup all the time but tonight they completely ripped me off. There was barely any pischacio cream in the cup and the chocolate was thin and liquidy, not like the actual chocolate they usually use. I'm very, very disappointed, this was my spot to get Dubai chocolate, especially at a $13 premium. I'll be taking my business somewhere else. "The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding; the staff is very accommodating! The diner is also handicapped accessible. I have been dining here for many years, usually visiting at least once a week, if not more. It's a fantastic value for your hard-earned money! I highly recommend Eastbay Diner! Parking: The parking lot is spacious, with designated handicapped spaces for easy access to the diner. Wheelchair accessibility: My husband used a wheelchair for many years, and this was a great place for us since access was smooth, and the owner and staff were incredibly accommodating. I can’t emphasize enough how kindly they treated my husband. While the exterior doors don’t open automatically, the staff were wonderful about holding the doors open for us, which is a big help for caregivers. "Oh my gosh, I don't even know where to start! Before we even got to Second Happy Door, the host greeted us with menus, and they were very polite. Once we sat down, we were served refreshing water with ice and napkins—such attentive service! Our waiter came by shortly after to take our orders, and the coffee arrived quickly. We ordered the French Toast Deluxe, which came with eggs and cheese, as well as cheddar cheese and extra pancakes. Honestly, this was the best French toast I've ever had! It was perfectly warm and cooked just right in the middle. The flavor was outstanding; the cook truly nailed it. The presentation was also impressive!"

"I grew up in Jackson Heights in the late '70s and '80s and Jahn 's was the go-to place for hanging out and dates when I was a kid. Many Friday and Saturday nights back then usually meant a movie at the Jackson or Colony theater and then off to Jahn 's afterwards! I have to be honest, just knowing that Jahn 's is still around brings tears to my eyes. I have so many fond memories of this place and going there with friends and my special girlfriend. This place is a treasure and I am certain that they have given other young people the same kind of memories that I got. "I recently caught up with an old friend I hadn't seen in a while, and we decided to meet at a diner we used to frequent. When we arrived, our waiter came to our table promptly and was in a great mood, although I didn't catch his name. Our orders were taken quickly, and everything was clean and organized. The staff were friendly, and the food was quite good. However, I was a bit surprised by the prices, as our bill ended up being around $45. "I had the Spicy Lover, it was so delicious, Rutgers to me is known for the Fat Sandwiches. Gotta love Jerz for this reason because I'm from the Midwest. "When I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes, they seemed to just have chocolate chips scattered on top, almost like a dollop of whipped cream. As for the home fries, they were not what I expected. They were burnt and the shredded kind, which I don't like. If I had known what they would be like, I would have chosen differently. However, I must say that the burger was DELICIOUS—perfectly cooked with a wonderful charred flavor. It was easily the best burger I've ever had, and I can only imagine that the steaks are just as good. The pancakes, despite the chocolate chips being concentrated in one spot, were also quite tasty. They are quite large, which is a plus. Overall, I would recommend this place, but if you enjoy seasoned food, I suggest skipping the pasta."

"absolutely inferior pizza and hoagies. the crust was boiled and soggy. ingredients are bland and tasteless (bad quality), the sauce (they did not even use enough, but perhaps that was a blessing) was watery and tasteless. hoagies are filled with high-quality ingredients and laid in stilt rolls. to eat completely terrible and disgusting. a bite and that was enough. in addition, the customer service has upset itself. they refuse to recognize that they are no longer on their game. they will argue with them and lie, not a manager tn cheap refunds. in all my years working in the industry, this is a dedication for a restaurant to refuse to take responsibility and accountability. this place was good earlier. I'm not gonna order from here again. many other places that will like to send high-quality food, and will be proud of their product."

"Went there for the first time yesterday. The staff is friendly and service quick and excellent. I got the beef gyro, delicious and reasonably priced. The orzo soup amazing! My favorite was the way they make their fries, hot and crispy and enough for a whole meal I went back today and got a delicious corned beef Ruben. There 's no place to sit to eat so the name Cafe is deceiving. The man behind the counter was dealing with the customers very nice and the same with me. I have been very disappointed with all our other local dinners lately and nearly forgot about acropolis (moved away for a few years) they are by far the best diner in town great food great people I go nearly every morning. I would have given 5 stars for atmosphere but one of their longest working servers tends to walk around causing problems with the other servers and complaining about the owners right in front of customers and it makes me uncomfortable. Everyone else is happy and great at their jobs and love the owners.
