"Edited my review for the second and last horrible experience. 2 months ago I was sadly disappointed by an ?antipasto salad? made by NY pizza, and I had talked to the owner who insisted that it?s just the way they make it, which I can except, and he asked me to give them another chance, which I decided to do today and now regret. I ordered an XL pizza, buffalo chicken salad and a large order of garlic knots. The pizza is good per usual, salad was less then mediocre, but the knots were disappointing. The vegetable/ olive oil blend was old and the knots were really doughy and mushy. There was no fresh garlic, just burnt garlic at the bottom of then pan. I called and politely told them that they were disappointing and asked for a refund. The guy I talked to was very defensive and rude and told me he made them himself. I decided not to argue and told him I would bring them back for a refund which I did. When I arrived he told me not to bother coming back to their establishment because of this (I?m sorry, am I the one who messed up the food? and I responded by telling him to cook better food and learn to take criticism better. He was still very rude and kept saying things I chose to ignore, and even continued to run his mouth as I was leaving, telling me to leave another review online, so here I am. I feel badly for the family that was dining in your establishment while you chose to embarrass yourself and everyone around you by your immature reaction. To tell someone that they are no longer allowed there because you made a mistake and can?t handle the criticism is very unprofessional. But don?t take it from me, there are plenty of other people who have taken the time out of their day to also comment about how horrible the food can be. I suggest you take an extra 5 minute drive down 611 and go to bartonsville and try Franks Pizza. They gave great food and amazing service unlike this place. To the rude guy behind the counter, I hope you find peace in life. Original review: Food is typically good but I ordered an antipasto salad that is not antipasto. It?s green leaf lettuce with tomato red onion cucumber and carrot and then a SMALL amount of deli meat. Extremely disappointed. How can you call this antipasto? I also ordered a large pizza with half mushroom. How are you going to charge almost $2 for a HALF topping but not even put it on half the pie?"

"It started out when I called to place my order, greeted with just hello , no idea fif I called the right number.. and was put on hold. After 10 minutes I hung up and called back. I placed my order and was told 25 to 30 minutes. I arrived within a few minutes of that and the young girl at the register was pleasant, I told her about being on hold that 's why I was so early. Another woman, older and obviously a chip on her shoulder, very much the epitome of a nightmare manager, was up front as well, and clearly who had answered the phone and put me on hold a bit earlier.. I paid the young girl and went to the table to wait. During that time I saw money laying on a prep table in the back.. maybe tips or whatever, unsanitary. The older woman was not hospitable in the least, and I 'm guessing she 's a manager or owner, something higher up throwing her weight around. She burned a couple slices of pepperoni pizza and tossed them. Then she grabs 2 slices of cheese off the counter and brings them to the back to add toppings to them to heat up for an order. I thought that was strange. It was a bad atmosphere. I 'd never want to stay at the restaurant to eat. The staff seemed pretty unhappy, the manager lady scolded te young girl when she was at the register in front of everyone. On top of the place being pretty dirty... Finger prints all over the glass, dirt and mud all over the floors and in the corners, caked on. The booths were covered in dust, etc. The 20oz bottles of soda on the soda fountain were so old and covered in greasy dust they wouldn 't have been recognizable if they didn 't have the labels on them. They were so old the cherry pepsi was on it 's way to being translucent and all the others were just as bad. At this point I just want to get the food, kind of, and get out of there. Eventually the order is brought up.. sitting on a counter, and I waited and finally the cook from the back asked if I had been helped and I said my order was just brought up and we 're ready to go.. he asked if I 'd paid and I said yes, but I forgot to ask for sauce for the chicken tenders and wanted to know if they had BBQ. He said you already paid, I said yes, and he said he couldn 't just give it to me I have to pay for it. So I said forget it and left. As far as the food quality, the onion rings were cooked a little too long which makes them much more greasy than they needed to be, and the chicken tenders had some very tough bites of the actual chicken tendon still inside. The ham and cheese calzone was great, but I don 't know if that 's enough to ever go back. I stopped going to this restaurant a couple years ago because the food changed for the worst, and I ordered delivery a lot and always waited like 1.5 to 2 hours for it to be delivered cold, which is why I did a pickup tonight. I don 't think I 'm going to give it another shot. Very sad because it used to be my favorite restaurant for over 30 years now I don 't think I would bother using a gift card if it was given to me.. the atmosphere was that bad. The new owners/ management seem like they don 't have time for you and almost like you 're an inconvenience them, but more importantly I didn 't like the way the place just was uncomfortable and the staff was mistreated."
