"I normally am a huge fan of Hungry Howie’s, it has been my regular pizza place since I have lived in Kent. However, after my experience tonight with the store’s manager, I am not going to order here again. The manager (Matt was incredibly combative with me over a DoorDash order I had placed, treating me as though I was an awful person for ordering through DoorDash rather than their website (in which case, maybe this store shouldn’t offer orders through DoorDash… Not only was he rude to me, he was rude to the dasher who was trying to pick up my order but was being refused due to not having a pizza bag which has never been an issue before now again, I have ordered here many times and never had any issues and have talked to other dashers who have not had this problem. If a paying customer tells you that they want their food delivered by the dasher, you give the dasher their food, not argue with them about policies that have never been enforced before. Also, Matt refused to give me the contact information for the owner of the store and told me any complaints made through the website would go straight to him (Matt , so he really made it seem as though my grievances could not be heard. I do not understand how someone could be that rude and combative over a medium pizza."
