"I worked, for a short time at the w.g. grinders that was on sawmill back in 2008. I loved the food and had the extra time so it was perfect. At that time, everything presented, positioned, and made for purchase to customers was orderly, clean, appetizing and the location was open and clean. Since I 've moved away and now came back, I was so disappointed that this location didn 't exist anymore and neither did the one in bexley, but my excitement was reignited as I sat at the fishinger/riverside light, waiting for my arrow to turn, and I spotted this w,g, grinders location. Well, let me first say that portions and grinder flavor are still there. Things that have also left with the other locations, it seems, are the awesome red-skinned potato salad, the airy, spacious seating areas, and the orderly, clean-feeling offerings to the customers. There is so much clutter and random side-offerings piled everywhere. It kind of has that corner liquor-store carry-out atmosphere, but without the alcohol to remedy your thoughts about where you are. I 'm truly bothered by it. Idk if the original owners of the locations here in cbus and one up in lima sold off everything and said go ahead and run the w.g. grinders reputation into the ground, but this truly is a location that 's far from comparable to the high standards that were maintained when I worked there. The owner visited often and was very, very strict about how the locations were managed and presentation. This location could use some improving imo obviously. Get rid of all of the junk side-offerings, wipe the place down, clean it up. Get back to what the brand was known for and what myself and a lot of people thinK of when they remember w.g. grinders from what back when... Like I said, ultimately, the grinders still taste good. Will I enjoy them ever while eating inside this shop? No. Even the random glassblock wall upon entry makes the ordering process confusing and irritating. Further, the workers don 't seem happy to redirect you to the odd register furthest from the door. No welcomes and no smiling. No good memories from this particular location except the taste of my grinder. I want that awesome potatoes salad back, I want the people who serve me to act like they want to be there, and I want to walk into a w.g. grinders that doesn 't look like a seven-eleven. Shame on you right now. Let 's see some improvements. Get back to the great basics."
