"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case."

"Rocco 's saving grace is that it serves pizza by the slice. Other than that, it is a dimly lit bar that serves overpriced beer in small quantities in downtown Seattle. My party and I were greeted by who I assumed was security, but rather than asking for our IDs, he asked how many were in our group. After telling him four , he said he may or may not have a table and that he would have to check with the hostess prior to letting us in. This was off putting to me since you could clearly see from the outside that there were tables available, and it seemed redundant to have someone have to ask the hostess for the table, rather than speaking directly with the hostess. Regardless, we were sat promptly in a booth. Service seemed a bit slow that night, but overall we didn 't have any issues with our server, he was great even. As stated earlier, the star of this place is the pizza. You can order pizza by the slice, half pie, or whole pie. It seems that the slices change by the day so be sure to ask your server what they have. When looking at the draft list, make sure you read the menu so you see what size glass it is served in. Overall, the pizza is good and comes in large quantities, but I have a hard time justifying the amount I paid for it. I 'd probably try a different pizza shop before coming here again."

"aht aht! find another pizza place. I ordered a cheese Sicilian pizza and a Greek salad. the pizza crust was burned to a dark crack. When I went to the test, it was crispy like hard brezels and it was cold. I had hoped to satisfy my hunger with the Greek salate I bought, and that was also terribly thrown together. the one sharp pfeffer that they put in it tastes as if it is soaked in a kind of poisonous chemical, the egg looked like a large lump feta cheese, had no egg yolk and was not cut, but pulled apart. the dressing taste as if she oil from her frit and mix it with white table. I spoke to someone under the name bruno to tell him how disappointed I was and he was so ignorant and nonchalant. I will never spend my hard-earned money there again. oh and to supplement injuries, bruno has ordered the place. on its own risk."

"I visited this restaurant while on a business trip in the area. The atmosphere was nice and the server was friendly, although not very knowledgeable about the menu items. I ordered a couple of pizzas and a chicken parmigiana, and found the prices to be reasonable. The food was of good quality and the portions were generous. I would definitely return to eat here, especially for the delicious fig and prosciutto pizza. Overall, the service was for dining in and the meal type was dinner. The average price per person was $20-30. I recommend trying the pizzas and the Chicken Parmigiana Pasta with Marinara Sauce."

"Poor service. Waitress was rude. Had reservations and were not seated for close to 30 minutes. The restaurant was very busy, and they were not handling the volume very well. The sautéed calamari appetizer was good and had a nice sauce. The mushroom pasta and pasta carbonara were bland and nothing special. The pasta carbonara (if you choose to call it that) had a cream based sauce with mushrooms similar to the mushroom pasta. It's the first pasta carbonara that I've had that was not made with an egg/cheese/bacon based sauce. It was difficult to distinguish the flavor in the two pasta dishes. Not sure if the kitchen made a mistake or if both sauces are supposed to be very similar."

"This place has it all a wonderful Italian hometown atmosphere perfect service and great food The staff is so attentive they wait on your every need. The restaurant looks like an old village has the cutest wine bottles hanging around the ceiling in the windows they greeted my guest and I with a slice of cheese pizza to sample which is why we ordered the d'Angelo special pizza as an appetizer it comes with every topping Great way to start and wonderful leftovers when I got back home My friend order fried jumbo shrimp, and they were large came with Caprese tomatoes and a House salad and a side of fettuccine Alfredo I got the fruta de mare Full of seafood, shrimp, clams, muscles octopus in a rich red sauce The octopus was cooked perfectly, was not rubber had a great flavor was such a large portion was able to make two more meals out of it after I got home Had to have desert had the Cannolis with candied cherries on each end, and a drizzle of chocolate Crispy, crunchy and creamy what a way to end a meal cannot wait to go back They have a very nice private parking lot Lucky for us. They were open continuously serving all day. We did not get there till like 4 pm late lunch early dinner for us"

"This place is amazing! From the moment my family and I walked in until we left, it felt less like a restaurant and more like being with family. The staff treated us wonderfully, and I loved how they consistently checked in to see if we needed anything. When I mentioned I wanted pasta with white sauce, it was as if they could read my mind, helping me choose the perfect dish. They were also fantastic with the kids. "First time lunchers here!! We frequent Uncle Bacalas for dinner which is always fabulous. Lunch hands down no brainer. Run don’t walk and give it a go! "This time, we decided to dine in the restaurant, which features beautiful decor, plants by the windows, and a clean, spacious environment. Our waiter, who has been there for quite some time, recommended the Insalata di Mare as an appetizer. "Went with the family for dinner before a movie across the street. Got the pull apart cheese bread and fried calamari as appetizers and they were excellent. Ordered 2 pizzas, a simple sausage and pepperoni and an Italian beef and giardinare which was absolutely amazing! Everyone had their fill and the entire experience was very pleasant. Service was great and atmosphere is what you would expect from a higher caliber pizza establishment. Top that off with soft drinks and draft beer to put the cherry on top of a wonderful evening. Highly recommend this as one of my favorite local pizza places. We both had a corned beef reuben however asked for with coleslaw on mine vs sauerkraut. it’s called a Rachel with coleslaw if paired with fish) Our waitress said, “we have coleslaw so sure” Well, my first bite and I was hooked. Told my husband it was the best tasting corned beef i’ve ever had i’ve been known to frequent Jewish deli’s for a great corned beef. Even the grilled bread was delicious!! Our waitress Shelley I peeked at the bill to see her name) was a sweetheart. We’re definitely going to return. We don’t get out that much anymore so Thank you for a wonderful afternoon."

"This is my second time here. I came back after having the truffle pasta. It was so good I had to try more items on the menu. This time I got the swordfish carpaccio, the pasta alla carbonara and then the tiramisu for dessert. I had a chianti to drink. Overall fantastic. The swordfish: some bites were a little fishy, but most were not. Heated slices of fish and still a little rare. Flavors were delicate and delightful. Would get again. Pasta again was divine. Perfectly cooked pasta with the perfect bite and chew. I loved the guanciale in place of pancetta. Sooo much better. And no peas. I much prefer it this way! I overheard someone at the next table who had ordered the dish say the pepper was too much for her. I completely disagree with her. Pepper is one of the main ingredients in this dish and therefore should stand out. I don't love pepper and I thought the seasoning was en pointe. Tiramisu was heavenly. Can't go wrong with carbs and cream. I had the same waiter as last time. I love him. Very pleasant and attentive. The place is busy but staff is always available to assist"

"I showed up and didn’t get attended for 30 minutes and I’ve eaten here one other time, and I know my orders because it’s the same in every place that has pasta, and it’s anything with Alfredo sauce, this time the waiter gets to me and says there isn’t any, and walked away and didn’t come back for another 30 minutes, then a different waiter walks by with fettuccine Alfredo, so I went and asked him, and of course he said they had it, so then I went to lady that led us to our table and brought this all to her, just for her to go and ask the first dude and get the same answer of, no there is no Alfredo sauce, very poor service from a restaurant in this location."

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to pick up bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."
