"I'm truly blessed to have such a friendly, local-vibe, pizzeria in my neck of the woods/mountains. My go to is the cheese calzone with a 6-piece of Babes Bites (Garlic Knots). My first ever order was one of their 14-inch pizzas. I'm fairly confident I went with a single, but there is a double offering that I am curious about. The pizza is what I would call, decadent. Crispy, thin crust, molten cheese, and fresh-tasting toppings. I recommend just throwing caution to the wind and just eat the whole pie, it's not one that reheats well... it's designed for immediate consumption. Perfectly paired with soda or beer. The calzone is... one of the tastiest I've had. Different from 90% of the calzones I've had in the past, is that Babe's has sauce inside the calzone, it gives it a flavor different than simply dipping into some sauce. The crust is infused with garlic, and browned perfectly. It's about a 10-inch calzone. The sauce they include with calzone and Babe's Bites tastes freshly made, it's not a standard fair marinara or pizza sauce... it's hearty in and of itself. Babe's is a definite gem among Burnsville's local offerings. Just across the street from our Hallmark Christmas Movie of a downtown, and definitely worth a visit!"
