"I was so excited to finally get to this much beloved restaurant in Johnston. It was hopping on a Sunday evening and my friends and I only had a short wait before we were seated at a nice corner table. The food selection was plentiful and once we decided on our drinks and entrees I'm afraid it took forever for anyone to greet us and our server to take our order. As a matter of fact there were at least 2 other tables in our section who were seated and served well after our arrival before we got our food! We were feeling a bit frustrated. But our entrees were delicious and our server was very apologetic. We did negotiate a free dessert due to all the delays which they granted and the manager also came over and apologized for the delays in our food. I will go back and try some of their other food. I spotted that other table's homemade gnocchi and I'd love to try that next time!"

"The food was cold and soggy, with missing items. I ordered chips with spinach dip but didn't receive the dip. The kids' Mac and cheese seemed to be just easy mac. The dessert only came with cake, no ice cream or sauce. The cake was okay. The egg rolls were messy and mushy. After spending $70 on uneatable food, we ended up making a separate dinner. It was a waste of money. Houlihan's quality has declined significantly."

"I’ll admit, I felt a bit anxious when I arrived at this location since I wasn’t familiar with the area and had no idea what to expect. However, my concerns were quickly put to rest when I walked in and one of the staff members said, “I see that look in your eyes.” I felt immediately welcomed, and the staff quickly got to work on my order. I was impressed by their kindness and how swiftly I received my food. Once I got home, I was very pleased with the quality of the wings. The sauce had just the right amount of heat and tasted fantastic. Overall, I’m very impressed with this little chicken joint and will definitely consider coming back when I’m in the area again."

"So I had a taste for some good BBQ, and boy did I find a jewel within this place!! Nice establishment, with a very ambient atmosphere. Excellent service, and great ownership/leadership. I ordered the 3 meat combo plate, with smoked brisket, ribs, and venison sausage, with collard greens, cornbread, and dirty rice. My wait time to be served after placing my order was about 7 to 8 minutes, which was quick. When I got my plate and sank my teeth into those ribs, THEY WERE FALL OFF THE BONE GRRRREAT!! When the bone comes out of a rib with no meat stuck to it, YOU GOT PERFECTION!! The brisket was moist, not dry at all, and very tender. The venison sausage had great flavor, and still holding juice. The greens were tender and well seasoned, as was the dirty rice. If you come to Houston, GUARANTEED YOU GOTTA COME HERE FOR THE BEST BBQ IN TOWN!! HANDS DOWN!! The food was so good, I had to give praises to Mama Gatlin herself, and tell her what a wonderful job they have done with this establishment."

"Besides it smelling like the store was dowsed in alcohol when the service windows opened the food was cold and just thrown in the bag. Night shifts to busy being drunk, rude and joking around in the back like a bunch kids, acting like we've interrupted some very important fry cook meeting. Sad part is you can tell there's horrible management there just letting whatever happen, happen. great place during the day, but night time that place is a complete wreck"

"I only do reviews about twice a year and like to be as honest as possible. I visited last year and had excellent service on a Friday night when I sat at the bar with a friend. I went last night for early Valentine’s dinner. When we arrived there was only 1 guest at the bar and a table of 4 men dining. We had a 5:15pm reservation. It took at least 3 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. The staff was setting the restaurant up for dinner. We were seated in a table and there were bread crumbs on the seat. Our server must be new as he was unable to answer any of our questions. We started with two smoked old fashioneds (perfect! . The menu we had was different than what was online. I guess they were featuring a limited Valentines menu in the restaurant. The server finally brought us fresh warmly Baked mini baguettes which were delish! We first shared the rib appetizer (also wonderful— cooked til tender and seasoned well and sauced perfectly . For our entrees, my boyfriend got a 6oz filet that looked like a single medallion and it came with a single piece of broccoli and two smaller whole carrots. He paid extra for Wolf steak sauce which was lacking any flavor at all. I got the grilled chicken and received two large chicken breasts, yummy mashed potatoes but not the crispy style I had on my first visit, and the same vegetables except my servings were almost double in size. Our bill was $169 before gratuity. I didn’t find the quality of food and customer service to be aligned with the cost. Comsidering we were 1 of 3 tables dining and the restaurant was slow, I would have expected better service and higher quality like I received on my first visit there when I met Mr Wolf at the bar and had a lovely evening with my friend who was Visiting from the Bahamas. For the cost, we could have dined at Capital Grille and received the premium level of service and nearly perfect food quality. I was disappointed because it was a special Valentine’s date and I made the recommendation"

Like whatabuger is a 3 star rating compared to Blake's. The other places are not even close. I definitely recommend you try there burgers. You will not be disappointed. Next, i will try the barbecue. "We came for dinner around 4:30. It wasn't busy. The outside of the restaurant made us question if it was still in business?no signage of the building itself. But when you walk in it?s clean and nicely put together! Staff are so very professional, too. Igot the sausage and pulled pork. Hubs got brisket and turkey. We shared the meats and we both really liked the sausage (a littlespicy with bold flavor) and the brisket (just enough marbling to give it nice flavor). Neither of us liked the pulled pork?afirst for us. Can?t really put a finger on it, but it was kind of mushy? The big pieces were fine, but the smaller pieces justhad a weird mouth-feel. Maybe they used something besides a pork shoulder? I don?t know, but we didn?t like it. The turkey wasturkey?would have been better with crispy roasted skin still attached. Our sides were Mac-n-cheese and beans?both average. Whenwe walked in, we wanted to love this place, but it fell short with the food."

"I haven 't been here in several years, yet after visiting the Pink Dot Express down the way, I made a trip over to their original since they didn 't have what I was looking for. But this place sure did, and then some. Not only did I find my awful Alka-Seltzer original chalky tablets, they had some random foreign candy as well. I 'm sure they had some other awesome stuff but I didn 't feel like sticking around. They didn 't have any Sudafed type of stuff though, which is another thing I was searching for. No minimum on card purchases either, so this was great. Machine does ask if you want to leave a tip, so you can bypass this if you want. Kid working was competent, and got the job done. Parking lot is shared with a Boot store, but I think they 're all closed down so there was plenty of parking when I went. I 'd definitely stop in again; you never know what you might need, and for the most part, Pink Dot will have it.Actually went back for the second time within the week, and I swear the guy working was AI or something, he just looked too 'on ', and even the way he spoke was strangely robotic. But that 's okay, he rung me up properly and did his part."

"only reason why I 'm ok with the one star is because I love Wendy 's food..... the service however is ridiculous....they are so slow and mess up often but today took the cake.... after asking the young person if I had my entire order he stumbled and then said yes... luckily I double checked but then had to rile back around to go inside (with two little kids at 9pm) to get the entire meal that they forgot... to irritate me more they yelled across the store as I was leaving to compliment me on my beau children. THEN I get home and the meal I had to go inside to get was WRONG!!!!!!"

"We had originally gone to a convenient store to just get something easy to eat real fast and cheap. Well it turned out that it wasn't a very good choice. So we noticed there was a Wendy's inside on side of the same store. So we went in and the people there were very pleasant. The young lady took our orders we hardly had time to get a drink and our food was ready. I began to think it's gonna be cold and old. Well I was wrong. It was hot the cheese was melted nicely the bacon crisp and the burgers were cooked to perfection. It was a very nice visit and if I'm in Pensacola again soon I will visit that store again. Parking: It is hard to find parking due to it being connected to a convenient store. But it's worth it. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp for those who need it."

"Ordered the bourbon bacon burger. Took it back to the hotel, practically in the same parking lot. The bacon and onion straws were very greasy, cold and hard. Way over cooked almost as if they had been cooked twice. Cheese wasnt even melted. I calles and to notify of my complaint and was just told sorry you didn 't enjoy it. When I then asked to speak to a manager on duty was told they were busy and the girl hung up. Also ordered chili as the side. I asked for hot sauce and crackers. Neither was in the bag or a spoon to eat it with. I picked up my ordee thru the drive through that was ordered on the app. Very disappointed. The burger combo that was also ordered was ok, fries weren 't very fresh tasting."

"I 've been to this location several times for the past few years and recently it seems to have changed for the better. I don 't know if they got new staff or what, but the last few times I 've been here, it 's been better. I remember walking in and seeing flies buzzing around and apathetic workers acting like I was bothering them by coming in. At one point, I witnessed an employee working as a cook freak out and quit on the spot because there was more than two cars in the drive thru and he couldn 't deal with it. He screamed, the manager screamed back, and he stormed off. Classy.But, for the last month or so, I 've been using the app for deals and when I pick it up through the drive thru, the staff have been totally different. Friendly and responsive and just easier to work with. The food is decent enough, but getting pricey thanks to all this building back better sending prices sky-high, so I am not planning on returning too often."

"I just went through the drive-thru at Wendy's and ordered a chili with all the fixings. The person taking my order was rude and said to proceed to window 308. When I got to the window, the employee asked if I wanted a large chili. I confirmed, saying I wanted it with all the fixings. She then clarified if I wanted cheese and I reiterated that I wanted cheese, sour cream, and all the fixings! When I received my order, it was disappointing: there was no cheese, onions, or sour cream included. The service was terrible! If I could give a rating of zero, I definitely would!"

"We don't usually indulge in fast food because it's often unhealthy, pricey, and we frequently find the quality of food and service disappointing. However, my husband and I found ourselves in a hurry and decided to stop at this Wendy's location. To our surprise, we were very impressed. The food was served hot, the fries were absolutely perfect—possibly the best fast food fries we've ever had—and the frosty was fantastic. Additionally, the service was quick and friendly. Hats off to the Wendy's in D'Iberville!"
