"A double birthday celebration was the reason for dining at the “new” Dakota. What a wonderful evening and so glad we celebrated at this restaurant. The environment was perfect. Great atmosphere, excellent service and outstanding food. The 4 of us began with the signature crab/Brie soup. It is phenomenal. Creamy and full of lump crabmeat. This is a must if going for the first time. My wife had duck breast and the rest of the party had the redfish….with a wonderful sauce. Our server checked on us regularly as well as the floor manager making sure we were happy. The dessert was cheesecake and a mariner sauce and the other was crepes and strawberry and wonderful sauce. The food was prepared perfectly. The redfish was perfectly prepared. We will return for sure and recommend the Dakota to everyone. Great experience."

"Tastings has fantastic service, and obviously a great array of wines. Their bartender Jay is single-handedly the best bartender in the city of Indianapolis. Go to Tastings if for no other reason then to sit at the bar and enjoy a night with Jay. He is fabulous, and so is Tastings!"
