"If your coffee order is wrong (I ordered a cappuccino but received an Americano) and you find yourself at one of only two tables occupied by customers, that's definitely an issue. The Avocado Toast was nice, but the menu in the restaurant doesn't match what’s listed on OpenTable. As a local in South Beach, I can honestly say this is the worst brunch experience on the beach."

"This is a delightful spot for a special tea occasion. It offers a more enjoyable experience than the traditional high teas in Chicago, featuring better and heartier food options. The chef's selections were truly delicious! We tried a variety of boozy teas—some were better than others, but our table of four enjoyed sampling four different options. They made my aunt's birthday extra special by bringing her a glass of rosé with a candle on it, which was a charming touch. Our server was wonderful, and the ambiance was very chic. At a price point of $45 for a generous cocktail (which could easily be shared) and around four savory and four sweet bites per person, it’s quite reasonable compared to other places. Overall, we had a lovely experience."

"Tonight visited in the evening from 11/17/2022 After a decade do not come to MexiCasa. Unfortunately, the food was as disappointing as ever. Over 20 years in the industry itself. I'm very critical of every institution I'm visiting. So we start. The food was only terribly slandered and inspiring. The rice was over boiled and muddy. The vegetables were boiled and crisp. Everything while it is lacking taste. Arroz con pollo, and all meats and vegetables were pale and lacked least of caramelization. was tasteless and beyond the proportions away. Way to many vegetables and way to much mushy rice. The guacamole was decent, but was spicier than all other salsa included. Was so spicy caught my daughter from the guard and made her cry because she didn't expect any spices at all, touched her eye and burned it. I could literally go to this kitchen and make better Mexican cuisine. I never cooked mexicanically professionally. I need so much work."

"The coddled egg in the bokaal! That was my order on the picture ! First time I had brunch in Belgian restaurant ! The place was full, then the owner come to welcomes us and try to find a table where we all can seat down. After a min. we was at the bar what we don’t mind. People very friendly there, I was surprised food arrived soon fresh hot and yummy . (We all order different brunch) Coffee latte was great then I saw the lady at the bar made the **** Mary so my friend order for us too! If you are in DC we definitely recommend this place ! "I travel to Maryland every year just for the Peruvian foot with my wife and 3 children. My youngest is the pickiest of all. Best ceviche mixto and pollo saltado we had. My children love the rice and the rotisserie chicken. I ordered also the arroz con pollo which is the green rice withe the rotisserie chicken with the potato and yellow sauce i love . Everything about this place and the guy working there sincerely friendly. The chicken was just right . I'm from Peru and I will drive again from Buffalo NY just to eat here."

"I finally got a chance to come here a few weeks ago after my friend kept ranting and raving about their $1 shrimp Wed and Fri's. Well my eyes we so much bigger than my stomach. I got 20 instead of 10 or 15. I ate about 8 and hurt myself!! The shrimp and fries were piping hot, the shrimp was fresh and the bread was crunchy just the way i like it! The staff is nice, friendly and fast. The place is small but can accommodate a small sitting area while you wait amidst a growing line of people ready to order. I haven't had any of their sides besides fries but I'm sure they are good too. Definitely go here if the craving for great seafood comes over you. You won't be disappointed."

"I've been coming here for years, but honestly, the quality has declined. They now charge for even the smallest things, like sauce for your rice or jerk sauce for the jerk chicken—it's almost amusing! I ordered takeout and they forgot to include utensils. When I called to let them know, they told me I didn't ask for them. Since when do I need to specifically request utensils for takeout? It seems like basic courtesy to include them, regardless. This feels like a greedy move on their part. I wouldn't be sharing this if they hadn't been rude when I called. The food is okay, but definitely overpriced. They also no longer include plantains in your meal because that's now an extra charge. Do yourself a favor and choose another place to eat."
