"This is the third tapas restaurant we have visited in Chicagoland and it is so far the best. The restaurant has a standard menu and a large daily special menu to keep things interesting. We ordered four tapas plates, two from the standard menu and two from the daily menu. We also ordered a single serving of seafood paella along with two desserts and a few drinks. Menu prices ranged quite widely but expect the bill to be between $100-175 for two depending on drink orders. Everything was very good. If we are going to be picky the beef was slightly under seasoned as was the fish in the paella. The patio was lovely as was the interior seating. The service was fantastic. The waiter was quick to offer recommendations and explained the menu and portion sizes."

"Superb food. The service as well was really great. Our waitress/server Martha was very nice and helpful. They have an extensive menu of cold and hot tapas as well as a wine and cocktails menu and of course paellaâs! When we went around on a Friday they had live music and there were couples dancing. It was a great time. In the summer they also have outdoor seating. Their parking lot was a little small but not impossible to find a spot. For of us we ordered tapas and a lot of leftovers that we were happy to take home! I hope you love and enjoy Emilioâs as much as we do!"

"Was part of a party of 13 for a work gathering. Arrived a few min early and our table was yet to be ready. No problem, we hit up the bar for happy hour before being seated. I get it’s happy hour but your small serving size of sangria and the over abundance of ice used to serve it is a bit much of nothing. Our reservation was originally for 15, 2 of the guest didn’t show due to work emergencies, hence they are doctors and things happen. Fair enough we were charged the 25 dollars a head for the no … – show"

"The RUDEST manager. Portions far smaller than Pil Pil, Boqueria both of which I had been to in past month and every other tapas place I have ever gone to but the prices high for what you get. I have been to Spain and they can try to convince people these were tapas size but no. In Spain it’s either larger portions or small prices or top cuisine. Food is bland and unsophisticated. They have decided to rip their customers off and shame on them. Worst dining experience of the year. The place is cute inside and I guess the happy hour wouldn’t be bad for a glass of wine. But the rest is horrible. I live in the neighborhood and so want to be supportive. But I will be sure to steer people away. Such a shame."

"Classic tapas dishes here were bland gambas al ajillo, patatas bravas, pan con tomate and txiporones en su tinta. The special they had was quite tasty octopus and chorizo skewers. And the croquetas de jamón were also delicious. Overall it was a nice experience and service was friendly and kind but food left a bit to be desired especially when there are many other good tapas places in the city"

"My favorite restaurant in Chelsea. Their bechamel croquetas are to die for, the bravas are addicting and their special gazpacho I could eat daily. The staff is attentive and personable and they make sure your glass is full as long as your are ready for, una mas. This place makes me thirsty and hungry and sometimes I wish I was closer so I could go daily! Cheers to Tia Pol for being a quintessential neighborhood spot, always welcoming you with that warm feeling you long for. Con mucho amor, para … – show"
