"When I first walked into the restaurant, I found it to have a charming atmosphere. However, choosing to eat in proved to be a poor decision. The front staff, made up of teenagers, were distracted by their cell phones and completely ignored us as we entered. The lemons at the drink station were warm and slimy, the booths were dirty and sticky, and the floors were scattered with crumbs and food particles. Although the food was decent, the unkempt dining area and inattentive staff were significant drawbacks. I ordered the pasta salad as a side, but it was unappetizing and tasted stale. If your staff has time to scroll through their phones, they should also have time to clean the booths and vacuum the floor, especially since we were the only customers dining in. It would also be wise to replace the lemons after they’ve been out all day. Overall, this was far from the "superb" experience they advertise. I would recommend going through the drive-thru or opting for takeout, and definitely avoiding the pasta salad if you don’t want to be let down."

"Currently leaving the restaurant “Chicken Salad Chick.” I would just like to start of by saying I DID NOT ORDER ANYTHING! There’s a Caucasian woman here with gray hair that wears a pixie cut black dress who seems to not have wanted to greet my mother I, or even speak to us at all. We walked in she looked right at us said NOTHING. These white women walked in through the side door apparently she knew one of them she lit up she more than gave her a positive experience while the other lady cut in front of us received help from a brown employee. No one spoke to us until a younger woman came asked if anyone had helped us. I told her no that it seemed the lady didn’t even want to greet us like she did the other ladies (everyone dining was white. I left because they didn’t even have tuna salad. But while walking out the lady with the pixie cut black dress MADE EYE CONTACT WITH ME quickly looked away. Moral of the story I will never come back here I do not recommend it! Fellow people of color definitely avoid the place, the atmosphere aesthetic of the place was enough anyway tbh."

"A fantastic restaurant in house, but not to go. For the price, small portions, ex my $5 fruit cup had 10 grapes, 2 blueberries, 2 strawberry slices. Grapes still had stems on many of them. Pasta salad side cup was filled 1/2 way. Disappointed and will not order from here again!"

"Very bad service. More than 30 minutes waiting for an Uber order. Today I arrived at the restaurant at 5 and they served everyone who arrived and I was waiting for a burrito, which is what my order brought. I think the service should improve and give priority to the orders from the Uber platform very bad service for me I give it a star and I do not recommend this place"

"Definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures of our meal but it is authentic, Mexican and very well presented. Been here several times and the food has always been consistent. It's a family-owned operation. The staff is always nice and helpful. And another note, we've got some carryout catering and their food quantity and quality is great for what you pay for. We've had other Mexican places catered and it seems like they're a little stingy on the food. This place is not. Will definitely recommend and definitely get another carryout for catering again"

"I absolutely love this restaurant! Unlike other places that focus on Mexican cuisine or burgers, my favorite is Dixie Chic. It's a fantastic spot. Even if you think you don't like chicken salad, you'll be pleasantly surprised by how good it is. I highly recommend giving it a try at least once—you might just change your mind! They also serve delicious soups; the broccoli and cheese is one of my personal favorites, and the potato soup is excellent too. The rotating soup selections each day keep things exciting. They even offer mac and cheese for kids, making it a perfect family-friendly destination. Don't forget to save room for cookies for dessert! The staff is always polite, friendly, and respectful, ensuring a wonderful dining experience. It's truly a great place to eat. Can you tell how much I enjoy this restaurant?"

"Holy yum, you guys! I've been scouring the Dayton area for a new chicken salad, since Kroger changed theirs and I don't like the new recipe. This stuff is SO good!! The pasta salad isn't drenched in Italian dressing, but it's also not dry. They have 12 different varieties of chicken salad, sides, sandwiches, and desserts. The mobile menu is a little smaller, (things that are easy for transport), but I got the impression that if you wanted something that wasn't on the menu, they could accommodate that. They're based in Mason, but they occasionally do pop-ups in the Dayton area. You order ahead of time, you go to wherever they are, and then get your order, already bagged up and ready to go. Easy ordering, easy pickup, and I even got a free cookie for filling out a survey. I really can't wait until they come back to the area! ? Chicken Salad Chick"

"Wonderful experience at this place here y'all...!!!!!! The Food is FANTASTIC, The Service, STUPENDOUS to say the least And OMG the chocolate cake is so good we bought a whole cake to bring home, after having a slice And ijs, we had an AMAZINGtime, and we Will absolutely be frequenting this specific location again and again, even though I'm certain that every otherlocation is just as wonderful. "As a first-time visitor, I was really impressed by the chicken salad here. I chose the Sassy Scotty along with the broccoli salad as a side. The bread was excellent—fresh, warm, and flavorful. "This restaurant continually messes up orders, to the point where it's almost amusing. Whether it’s a quiet Monday afternoon at 3:30 in the drive-thru or during a busy lunch rush on the weekend, I can almost guarantee that my order will be wrong. I've lost count of how many times I've had to cook my own bacon at home after being charged for it, or throw away the bread I requested to toast my own, just to move the contents into a new sandwich. It's absurd. Then there's the issue of them frequently running out of white bread around 5:00 or 5:30, and let’s not forget the soup that arrives so cold that it’s too thick to even scoop with a spoon—absolutely unappetizing. It’s a pattern of consistent failures across the board. This place promotes itself as offering a "Simple Concept," but it seems the employees struggle to deliver, missing the mark on the “Superb Experience” they advertise. I am very disappointed with the LaGrange location."

"Youd think it would be easy to get a chicken salad sandwich and a bag of chips. Not so much. My toasted bread was limp and barely toasted, the tomatoes were green an not edible, the lettuce was ok, the pickles were soft and limp instead of crispy and the chicken salad would have been good if there had been enough to taste. It was spread about 1/8" thick so I barely knew it was there. Best thing about the order was the cute little cookie that was included. Never again! A huge disappointment!"

"We absolutely love this place! Two things. This rating is based on our experience with the wonderful lady that works the cash register, and I believe has been at this location since it opened. If I’m wrong, I’m not off by much. She is so king, tentative to us and always a pleasure. The GM on the other hand is going yo run this place in the ground. We come here weekly, never one time had our order been messed up, until the GM took our order. Then, to our delight, had a horrible attitude like we were the ones. It’s clear as day the people don’t like working for this guy. If I were him and reading this review, I would seriously consider being an all around better person. I’ll pay anyone a 10 to 1 odds, his people can’t stand working for him. Shape up or promote the older lady with experience and a wonderful attitude."

"Visited based on a personal recommendation. Purchased the bulk chicken salad with grapes and apples. I think there are nuts too but not sure if I noticed them. Took the salad home, put it on top of some Pepperidge Farm Bread and wow! I think this could bethe best chicken salad I have ever tasted. I now want to try the other chicken salad options plus the other offerings. Addedbenefit is they provided crackers with the bulk chicken and the crackers are a terrific match. I plan to start taking thischicken salad to work and making a quick and delicious sandwich for lunch!"

"I have to say I have driven past this place for the past few years and always been like I should stop and try it and I've just been skeptical because I didn't know what to expect. I ordered from Uber eats and picked out several different items everything was delicious everything tasted fresh there was nothing I didn't like I didn't think I would like grapes with chicken. But it worked great the pimento cheese taste so fresh and homemade this place is awesome definitely recommend!"

"We were a party of three dining at the restaurant, and there were only two other customers at that time. We ordered chicken nachos, a chicken quesadilla, and two tacos—one chicken and one shrimp. Our server took our order without writing it down, but since it wasn't busy, we thought it would be fine. However, we ended up receiving a pork quesadilla, a pork taco, and a shrimp taco instead. The nachos were correct, but unfortunately, while eating, we found several black hairs in the dish. After discovering the third hair, we decided to stop eating, and upon further inspection, we found at least two more black hairs. It's a shame because it’s a great spot to visit, but we can't recommend it when the orders are wrong and there are hairs in your food."
