"We opted for the molcajete mixto and the queso birria. Both dishes arrived quickly and were served piping hot. The molcajete was brimming with delicious ingredients, including a satisfying amount of meat and shrimp nestled in the sauce. The grilled cheese slices included were fantastic—crispy, salty, and with a fun squeaky texture. I highly recommend trying the molcajete!
As for the queso birria, I usually prefer the version made with goat, but Los Molcajetes uses beef, and it was still delightful. The exterior was nicely crunchy, while the interior was packed with tender meat and gooey cheese. Served alongside a cup of consomme for dipping, it made for a wonderful meal.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and with such a diverse menu, we’re looking forward to returning!"
