"I was only staying one night in this area and had difficulty finding better rated restaurants. I came across Leonardo and was impressed by the menu. Almost didn’t make reservations when I saw that it is located in small strip mall- what a mistake that would have been! This place is superb. The food is excellent- so many nightly specials. The vibe is authentic- you can tell that a lot of local regular customers support the place. I would highly recommend."

"A reservation was for 730 and we were not seated until 745. Our waiter came over and immediately seem to have a bad attitude. We ordered two pastors and a chicken. Our waiter never wrote anything down and proceeded to bring the incorrect chicken dish when he brought the meals 20 minutes later. When we told him that he brought the incorrect chicken dish he was not apologetic he simply asked if we wanted the meals all together or if he should leave the pasta dishes? When we told him that we wanted all of the meals together with that he took the pasta dishes back. Still not apologizing. Finally brought all of the meals after another 20 minutes and the chicken was so dry you could barely eat it. We sent it back and still no big apology. I finally spoke with a manager and he apologized but again wasn’t overly apologetic. At the end of the meal they did bring a couple of complimentary desserts. Obviously they didn’t charge for the chicken dish since it wasn’t eaten. That def didn’t make up for the choppy service or bad food. The entire situation could have been handled differently and would have changed our experience."

"After struggling for an hour to find a restaurant for Valentine's Day, as I am from out of town, I was finally able to secure a table here. However, when I arrived, I discovered that the restaurant was closed. This was disappointing, as now there were no available options that were not already fully booked. Please remove closed restaurants from your website."

"We started with the insalata mista, which was overly dressed and soggy. Our main courses arrived before I had even made a dent in my salad, and the bread we requested came out shortly after that, all within about 20 minutes, which made us feel quite rushed at our already overcrowded table. The linguini with clams was drenched in parsley and oil without enough garlic or butter, which was disappointing. The veal parmesan and spaghetti with meatballs were just okay, but we’ve definitely had better meals elsewhere. The bread was dry and tasteless. What I hoped would be a fantastic dining experience turned out to be lackluster. While we enjoyed chatting with the party next to us, the overall service felt too rushed and the food was mediocre. I don't plan to return."

"eating was phenomenal! that said: restaurant was very overbooked. we had kept and sat at a table near the hostess and it was exactly where the house was. the people stood around and waited for their tables it was really full and the restaurant door was open it was 32° outside and windy. this made the contrary around our table other, but above all our really very cold, windy, loud and stuffed. we didn't disturb that. we talked to the server and explained our concern that we were cold! asked to be moved before the arrival of our meal. he scrubbed his shoulders and said, “We have nowhere else to put you. I can't do anything." he was very dismissed. he was obviously busy as they were all. he took our orders and went away. we finished our drinks and waited for him to check for refills. he didn't. we chased someone down to order drinks empty glasses were before us. this happened every time we drink, broth, everything needed. our meals arrived and looked heavenly! we had to throw someone to the bee. had to eat quickly because we were very cold and our food was quickly cold because the door was often opened. they shouldn't be sitting on this table. it ruined our meal. maybe in warmer months, but not in january. we only saw our server again when it was time to order dessert. the “busrs”? actually noticed that we were ignored in the round and ended to check us more for the end of our meal. at least we have appreciated that. eating was amazing, it rushed as it was cold not. service was poor. very disappointing. we will not be back."

"An old favorite. Been coming here for over 25 years. Had to take the last two years off due to the pandemic but got back home on Christmas Eve and all the memories came back. Great appetizers including baked clams and fried calamari, Along with oysters Rockefeller and artichoke hearts oreganata. Pastas are always special here with shrimp oregananata over linguine, linguini with white clam sauce and the stuffed real chop Valdostana. Not too many restaurants still serve tortoni in the paper cup and for me it's the best dessert topper over an Italian meal. Wine was terrific with Gavi white and espresso is piping hot. The best of all there is Carl who is so much more than a waiter, more like a member of your family at the table making sure that everybody is well fed and having the best possible holiday dinner. So glad we came back after this hiatus and will not wait very long before returning."

"The service was timely and friendly from the hostess, to the servers, to the bussing staff. The menu was extensive with plenty to choose from for southern and northern Italian specialities as well as Marco creations. I had the veal chop which is the best I have had anywhere throughout the U.S. and Canada, including the Little Italy sections of many major cities., and the price was not ridiculous like it is in many places. I also had spaghetti with an oil and an abundance of sliced and chopped fresh garlic which was also outstanding We also had a Shrimp Scallop (wrapped in bacon) appetizer with a very balanced Dijon mustard and molasses (or a similar-tasting sweetener) mix. My wife had scalloped veal cutlets with shrimp and crabmeat with a garlic sauce. It was good, but she thought it needed something to give it more flavor which I agreed when I tasted it. It was cooked properly but needed something to give it a little more zing The next time, and there will be a next time, she would likely get a southern veal dish. She also had marinated asparagus which she said was excellent. Since we live two hours away and were in Deleware for the night, it is not a place we will get to often (but it would definitely be one if we lived closer), but we will go down that way just to go to Marco's and spend the night. Well done, Marco's!"

"My husband ordered the pasta Carbonara, ate every morsel and thought it was delicious. I had the daily special of Sea Bass. The fish was cooked perfectly. The polenta as a side was fine but the flavor of the tomato ragout was too powerful for the delicate flavor of the fish. Service was exemplary. As for prices, the pasta was priced reasonably but the sea bass was very pricey."

"We’ve been going to Il Porto for many years and this was our most disappointing experience. It appears that they were short staffed as our server was managing outside tables and inside tables. The poor guy was running all over. In addition, the price had increased over the last few years. You used to get a salad but that option is no longer a part of the meal. In addition, the recipe seems to have changed for the red sauce as the spaghetti and meatballs seemed different and also a smaller portion. We still love the restaurant and the staff. It just seems that the experience hasn’t elevated despite the higher prices."

"Fantastic homemade pastas and a wine list that has what you need. Anti pasta and entree list is all fantastic too. My favorite in the area! Treat yourself to healthy fantastic tasting food. Healthy you ask, rich and high in calories, sure, but the body knows how to process whole ingredients and this place uses just that in their menu items. Do your taste buds and body a favor!"

"I have been coming to this restaurant for about four years, but I have never been here for dinner, only for lunch. It's our go-to spot with our little one. They can order either the lunch size or the dinner size meals. The fact that they have table linen is a nice touch. The food is always great, and so is the service."

"we were in Rosemont for a convention and decided to make a lunch trip to Carlucci’s and man are we happy that we did. The service and the food was stellar, but a special mention has to be made about our server “Grumpy”. I don’t think we’ve ever had better service from someone that we did not know. It was immediately like he was familiar with our table and he was sarcastic and sweet. Very friendly but also very professional… it really takes a special person to have such a nice experience in a place where you’ve never been. Thank you so much Grumpy Bill for your amazing hospitality, and for making our lunch so special. Carlucci’s is lucky to have you which I’m sure they know!"

"this is a very nice old school style Italian restaurant! we sat on the back terrace, which was cute and intimate. they can definitely feel that this is a family run and our service was wonderful. this place is byob, so do not forget to bring her wein! to begin, we have the Calamari Appetizer. our plate had a quantity calamari and a delicious marinara sauce. and for our entree we have the rigatoni alla casalinga. we did not feel so hungry so that we wanted to share one, and they actually brought him to us, already divided into two plates! and for dessert we share a cannoli that was the perfect sweet tasty. if they are looking for a cozy and classic Italian spot, this is their place! to be honest, I don't think this is the best Italian food that they can get in chicago, but it's pretty good and quite expensive! and the service and the hospitality are amazing."

"A little gem in Winter Haven. It’s like a mini-Arabellas. What’s not to love! Totally in LOVE with the food. It’s truly incredible. And the staff are so friendly and helpful. If they offered delivery, I would eat here every evening (I am NOT kidding). I work 16-18 hours a day and we order take out almost every night because there’s no time to cook. Having the ability to get delivery would be life changing for me! I can always dream! Food: 5"

"My veal parm was very good, my friends veal marsala was so small it looked silly. Both the wives dishes were fine. We had brought 2 bottles of wine as they charge $25 corkage fee, what we have never had happen before was they charge it per bottle. I complained and was ignored. Who charges a local resident $50 for corkage service. Well no wonder the place was half empty !"

"Last night we ate here outside and the service was 10/10. Our waiter was super funny and couldn't stop making us laugh. Service was attentive and when it started to rain they moved us over to a table to not get wet. The food was absolutely amazing! The mushrooms and the prosciutto in the Demi glaze was the lemon sauce on the chicken my friend couldn't stop drooling over. We split the $10 pasta side and was a huge serving so definitely recommend splitting. Great spot for family, friend hangout, date night, work event. Parking along street for free. Can't say enough great things about your meal and experience last night."

"La Catena continues to be one of the best restaurants in lower Westchester. Not only is the food excellent, but the service and ambiance cannot be beat. The tables are spread out, keeping the noise level down. And unlike many other popular restaurants, you never feel squished. Additionally, the chef will prepare any dish you like, even if not on the menu as long as they have the ingredients. As a bonus, there’s plenty of free parking right next to the restaurant."

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Carellis this past evening and it was an unforgettable experience. The menu offered a delightful array of traditional Italian dishes, each sounding more tempting than the last. The Chicken Saltimbocca was hands down phenomenal cooked to perfection over potatoes. Save room for dessert too as those fresh crepes are a must!"
