"Waiting to be seated took a long time, even after I mentioned to the hostess that I had joined the waitlist. Once we finally got to our table, we had to wait another 10 minutes for a server to come over. When she did, her approach was quite abrupt—she jumped right in with “What do you want?” instead of offering any sort of greeting. However, once we placed our orders, things improved. The food arrived promptly, but the chicken fajitas lacked flavor. On the bright side, the elotes were fantastic!"

"The customer service was excellent; I really appreciated how attentive our waiter was. He frequently checked in to see if everything was okay, kept our drinks refilled, and demonstrated great manners throughout our meal. He definitely earned a well-deserved tip! As for the food, it was good, and I would likely return. The only downside was the noise level from the music—it felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant. But, given that it’s a Mexican bar-style place, I suppose that's to be expected. Just be prepared for a hefty bill if you’re planning on having a full course meal! Dinner for two came to $84 plus tip, and we didn’t even order any alcoholic drinks. Nevertheless, my husband left satisfied!"

"We had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. Two people who arrived after us were served, finished their meals, and left before our food even arrived. We waited about 20 minutes for simple tacos, and only received them after we had to remind the waitress. To make matters worse, the beef tacos we ordered were very dry, which further added to our dissatisfaction with the overall service."

"El Bolero is a perfect spot for a festive cocktail and meal. We met for dinner before a concert downtown. The drinks are outstanding, finally had the famous Oilman Margarita . Its beautiful and it doesn 't disappoint. I love the queso here- it 's my favorite in Dallas, and the chips are crisp and lightly seasoned. The food is delicious- I had the vegetarian enchiladas, my friends had the burrito, barbacoa tacos and soup. The side of fried okra was delicious. Dessert was a treat- we shared 3 options. Our favorite was the caramel filled churros, followed by the fried ice cream and then the Dulce de Leche Neopolitan. The waitstaff are nice and the dinner was fun and relaxing. They are not pushing you out, and the service is a little slow. Go with time to relax and unwind!"

"My friends and I had dinner here on a Saturday night. It wasn't very crowded at 6 pm, the music was good and not too loud, and the atmosphere was great. We loved our margaritas and the salsa trio appetizer! My friends and I hadn't seen each other in a while, so we didn't mind that our server took a while to ask us for our order we just spent that time talking and catching up. When we did order, the food didn't take long and everything tasted amazing! We again didn't mind when the server took a while to bring us the checks, because we were able to talk without feeling rushed out of the restaurant. I didn't like that at a certain time they turned the music volume up. This was around the time that the restaurant was getting more crowded, so it was harder for us to hear each other. After our dinner we of course took a picture with the fun mural outside! Overall I enjoyed my experience and would recommend this restaurant to a friend!"

"Having an apartment in this neighborhood my husband walked past this place every day so we decided to have dinner here even though I had come by here a few weeks ago asking if they had Sopas and besides telling me she didn 't really speak English the answer was just No!the menu was extremely limited and really has Nothing for Vegan 's or vegetarian 's. I believe there is one item a burrito with spicy vegetables. It 's a Mexican restaurant yet has No Mexican cheese for their items on their menu. Also No Mexican Coca-Cola in the bottle. They have Corona Beer but unfortunately there 's No price on the menu for Corona so we didn 't know the price until we got the bill. $12 for 2. My husband ordered a steak burrito I ordered a quesadilla they have No black beans so I had to get pinto beans they have No Vegetarian rice so I got guacamole and whatever cheese they use I believe cheddar. They have No Lime for the beer and the girl said the owner said limes are too expensive so they only gave me lemon for my beer. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and I certainly can understand why no one comes here. Our food arrives she sets it down walks away and what do you think after her and I have been talking about Vegetarian-Vegan-Food what do we have but Chicken in my quesadilla! Her answer and excuse was oh well I wrote just cheese quesadilla but the kitchen didn 't see it. We are the only people in the restaurant there were No other orders. As some favor she says oh you can keep it I 'll go and make you another dish. Ummm... clearly she wasn 't listening to what I was saying because why would I keep a chicken quesadilla being a vegetarian?? I gave her the whole plate back and told her I wanted a check. My husband got his burrito to go, we drank our two beers and the bill was $32. My husband also gave her a five dollar tip I 'm not sure for what her bad attitude or all the mistakes?? They are a joke! Zero stars for the service! zero stars for the food! one star for the atmosphere"

"We visited a few more times, but during our last visit, I discovered a hair on my nachos. My husband dislikes sending food back or making anyone uncomfortable, so we chose not to mention it and simply didn’t eat it. After that experience, we decided we wouldn't return again. Yesterday, we intended to go to a different restaurant nearby, but it was closed for Labor Day. Since we were hungry, we reluctantly decided to try this place again. We ordered queso, but my son immediately noticed a long hair in it. At that point, I was done and asked my husband to send it back. The staff apologized, but it’s just unacceptable. The employee was very kind, and I know it’s not her fault, but it makes me wonder if they don’t use hair nets. If this has happened to us twice, how many other customers have faced the same issue? Additionally, I felt that the quality of food had declined. The chips seemed thin, my nachos looked different, and the beef had an off smell. It’s disappointing because we love the other Natalita’s locations, but this one is just down the street from us. Despite our frustrations, we tipped the server well because she shouldn’t have to suffer due to the kitchen staff's mistakes. Please do better."

"I 'm leaving for Cali next week "CELEBRATING MY RETIREMENT JOURNEY!!! That 's all I can rely on for things. Places, people sight unseen !!! AND for me, 9 tines out of 10 IT WORKS!!!!! John answered my call last Wednesd, his knowledge, patience, tone, excellent customer service, honesty, professionalism and compassionate spirit, I WAS SOLD INSTANTLY!!!!!! I gave my son our meeting location, both ETAs were 7-7:15 pm I arrived 1st, went in quickly to meet John, check out the place was very pleased!! My son showed up shortly we had an amazing dinner, he had 3 tacos, I had veggie quasidillas, rice beans and of course a margarita!!! John and Roy are amazing !!! Three Amigos.!!!!!!!!.......... great food, prices, mags, atmosphere, location, cleanliness, customer service!!! Both of us say every time we travel Montgomery/Birmingham, Three Amigos is definitely our stop for lunch or dinner!!!!......AND MAGS!!!! "As a delivery driver, I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The small order I was picking up was not ready when they said it would be in 10-15 minutes. I went back to my car, and as soon as I got in, they marked the order as ready, causing DoorDash to notify me. However, the order was still not prepared, and the staff was unhelpful when I mentioned it was marked as ready. I ended up waiting at the counter for over 10 minutes before eventually leaving. Overall, the service for take-out dinner was a 2 out of 5."

"Sometimes, it pays to go in to a place without looking at the reviews. La Pinata is one such place. A co-worker and I ventured off of High Street in search of a lunch place. After my masterful parallel parking in front of La Pinata, we went in for what turned out to be a fairly pleasant surprise. Pros: Ample parking around the area. Ample seating inside the restaurant. Very cheap food less than $7 for a plate of Arroz con Pollo). Cheap seafood $5 +tax for shrimp and fish tacos). Huge menu Freshly made salsa with chips free, of course) Cons: Not gourmet for sure. Service can be slow due to staffing issues, though it was fast on our visit. All in all, don't come in here expecting Tex-Mex on the level of Nada. Instead, La Pinata is on par with most Tex-Mex places. But altogether, I think this restaurant definitely deserves to be much higher than the 1.5 stars it receives so far."

"I’ll do my best to be positive in this review. I took my wife there on Saturday morning after she heard good things about the place, and overall, it was just okay. We ordered chilaquiles and a stack of pancakes. The food was enjoyable, but my egg that was supposed to be over easy came out crispy. The salsa, which had been highly recommended by our friends, was quite bland and lacked any spice. On the bright side, the pancakes were absolutely delicious! I would still recommend this restaurant and give it a rating of 4 stars, mainly due to the issues with my egg and the lackluster salsa. Aside from that, it’s a decent spot for a meal!"

"I absolutely love this place! Everything is just fantastic. When you eat here, you really feel like you're experiencing something special. "Meso Maya is an amazing find in Dallas! The food special and delicious with a Mexico City inspiration versus Tex Mex. I love this place. I always take friends here because you can actually talk with each other, hear each other and not have to yell. : Bonus, bonus is that the food is excellent, healthy and tasty. And the portions are sizable easy to share any dish. The table and bar service are some of the best in town. Enjoy!"
