"I've visited Morso several times before, but this was by far the least satisfying experience I've had. Traditionally, the meal starts with popovers, but this time they were preceded by bread, which was unusual. When the popovers finally arrived, they were served cold. The baked clams were decent, but while they weren't cold, they also didn't have the warmth they should have. The fettuccine with bolognese was also served lukewarm, and the meat had a granular texture that was detached from the sauce, making it a disappointing dish. One of my companions ordered chicken meatballs with pasta, but the chicken was so dense that it was tough to cut, and the pasta was chewy. We noticed that no soup was listed on the menu or suggested by our waiter, but as we were leaving, we saw another patron enjoying a bowl of pasta e fagioli. On a positive note, the wine was excellent, and the pour was generous. Overall, it was not a great experience, but it does seem to be an exception compared to my previous visits to Morso. Everyone can have an off night, and I hope that was the case for them this time."
