"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to pick up bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"My husband and I used to be big fans of this restaurant, but our recent visit left us disappointed. The atmosphere was dreadful. The waitstaff seemed unhappy; our waitress spoke only the bare minimum and was quite unfriendly. We noticed that the wait for our order to be taken and delivered was excessive, especially since there were only about five tables occupied at the time. After finishing our bread, we neatly stacked our plates, hoping someone would clear them, but they were left untouched until my husband finally had to ask for them to be taken away. We didn’t receive a single "thank you" or any friendly gestures from the staff, except for the man at the register, where my husband decided to pay rather than wait any longer. We’re not hard to please; we simply expect good service and a positive attitude. It’s obvious when someone comes to work with a negative demeanor, and it can ruin the dining experience for customers. We’re truly disappointed to see how things have changed."

"The food at La Comida was really good across the board. However, I ordered a Top Shelf margarita on the rocks. What I got was a glass almost filled with tiny, almost shaved ice, rather than big ice cubes. The taste was very bland, and for a $12 margarita, I expected more. I couldn 't even taste the tequila. I told the waiter about it, but he informed me that all their ice is of the tiny, shaved kind. Please, La Comida, switch the ice for your on the rocks drinks to large ice cubes. It makes a difference!"
