"Although the food was ok the service was horrible so we didn’t really enjoy our time. The place seems to be run by a bunch of inexperienced college kids as they more than once missed items in our order and just did not provide any good service. It was our first time visiting and our last. I’m surprised they are still running considering how empty the place was at lunch time on Saturday and how horrible the service was."

"Came here recently for breakfast with a friend. Super cute spot, parking fills up quick, but there is plenty of residential parking nearby.Ordered the Avocado Eggs Benedict and Mascarpone Crepe. Eggs Benny was served sourdough bread, which I always love. The hollandaise sauce was non traditional it reminded me of a spicy thousand Island dressing, but with butter. I'm still on the fence about whether or not I liked it. Potatoes were delicious. I will say that for the price $21), I was expecting a decent amount of avocado and found it quite sparce.The mascarpone crepe was quite a bit smaller than I thought it would be. That being said, I split this dish with a friend and although I found it absolutely delicious, I think it would be too rich to have it as your main meal. Great dish to share!Although the location and vibe is super trendy and cute, it got very very loud as it got busy, to the point that it was too loud to continue a conversation on a small, two person table. Definitely not a good spot if you are looking to catch up with a friend. If you are just looking for a loud, fun spot, this is for you.Service was attentive but got to the point where I felt they were trying to push us out quicker. It was busier at that time, sure, but there were still open seating available.Also not that unlike the majority of breakfast/brunch places, they do take reservations. It did get busy so I would suggest calling ahead.Enjoyed myself but I don't think I will be back soon."

"I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, and we were promptly greeted by a polite young man. The servers were all pleasant and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious! We started with some warm, crusty bread and our appetizers were perfect. The salad was fresh and crisp with a tasty dressing. The entrees were served hot and looked as good as they tasted, presented in a fun way. We were too full for dessert, but we are looking forward to returning soon! We used to go to Caffe Piazza for pizza in the past, but we had no idea what we were missing in terms of Chef/owner Antonio's amazing food and his kind and generous personality. We can't wait to come back!"

"I love their minestrone soup. Truly. But each of the last three times i have come to this location, it has been a frustrating and incomplete experience. Each time I have either left empty handed or had to wait hours to get what I had ordered. Just stay away from this location. They are nice but after three tries on simple orders, come on! Today I ordered through DoorDash. I specified a time, placed the order and got two confirmations from DoorDash. I also got charged. When I arrived there was only one person on duty. The others, including the manager, were either delivering or offsite. The young man said they had no order for me. I showed him the confirmation and he said they have a lot of problems with DoorDash and GrubHub. To the point that no orders make it from those platforms to their store. YET THEY STILL USE THEM. The store is listed on both sites. So I was told I needed to fix the issue and call DoorDash. Ok I get that but knowing your link to these websites doesn 't work AND YOU CONTINUE TO USE THEM is maddening. So their failure to work out the issues with these websites is my problem. Talk about passing the buck. They should remove their location from those sites. am no longer going to try and support this neighborhood shop. Ill get the soup froma location three miles away instead."

"Went to Peppino's with a friend before going to a concert at Van Andel Arena. Decided to split a Pizza Sub with Fries. Friend ordered a Mango Peppino's Limonata, which was delicious. The pizza sub itself was very good. Plenty of sauce and cheese, and sub roll was good. French fries were crunchy. Place was packed, but was expected 2 hours before a busy event at Van Andel. All the restaurants within walking distance were on 90 minute waits, and we didn't have reservations anywhere. Peppino's was also on a wait, but we were able to score 2 bar seats and got lucky. Would definitely go again, their pizzas looked good."

"I'm originally from Rochester, New York, so I can confidently say that this pizza holds up well even by New York standards. I haven't been back to New York in over a decade, so I can't say how it compares now—just to note that I'm referring to pizza in general, not specifically this chain. As someone who is a picky eater, taste is crucial to me—I primarily rely on my sense of taste since I’m visually impaired. If you're reading this review, I highly recommend adding fresh basil to your pizza; it pairs perfectly with the extra sauce. The cheese is wonderfully stringy, and they must be using high-fat mozzarella instead of that low-fat version, which tastes like cardboard—something I definitely don’t enjoy. I definitely plan to order again once my finances settle. I just moved into a new apartment, so I can’t order right now, but I’m looking forward to treating myself in a couple of months. I hope this review helps someone discover this place if they haven’t tried it yet."

"The rigatoni alla quattro formaggi was absolutely delicious—even better than I had anticipated. It arrived hot and fresh. However, the panna cotta fell short in flavor and had a slightly rubbery texture, likely due to an excess of gelatin. I'm not sure if this was just an off day for them or if there’s a problem with the recipe. I would certainly order the pasta again, though!"

"Bad service, it was booked in advance for a birthday, it was not received like other restaurants, it was never mentioned that it was a special occasion (birthday), not even in the dessert, and the piece of meat like it was in Water thawed, tasteless, uncooked and hard, I don't think we will be back, this is the third time we go and it was very bad, I don't recommend it"

"Was visiting from out of town and was so excited to try this place, in spite of the bad reviews about service. I should of listened! After almost 15 minutes of being totally ignored, while the older larger Hispanic man ate, berated the bus boy loudly, and stood at the counter doing nothing we walked out! Not sure if he's related to the owner or what the situation is but I have no idea how he still has a job and he is driving away the business, which is very unfortunate because the reviews of the food are very good!"

"I ordered a pizza for takeout from Russo's because I received a $5 off coupon in the mail. I placed the order at the restaurant and waited about 20-30 minutes before my order was ready. It appeared as if some employees were in training, but the service was still pleasant. They made my pizza fresh to order, and it tasted so delicious! I felt that the size of the pizza made it a pretty good value for the price. The crust was thin and the toppings worked well together. I am usually not a fan of sausage on pizza, but I thought the sausage on this pizza was really good. While it didn't exactly compare to the pizzas I've had in NYC, I enjoyed it and would order from them again."

"I've known about this place for years, though it's a bit tucked away and easy to overlook. Recently, I felt the urge to try something new, and I'm so glad I came in! The pizza was incredible—definitely the best in Montgomery County, without a doubt. It had the perfect balance of sauce and cheese, a great distribution of toppings, a beautifully crispy crust, and just the right amount of charred cheese. I can't praise this pizza enough. And the cannoli? Absolutely out of this world! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely be coming back!"

"Cute Italian place with a wine and barrel theme inside. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. I had the Alfredo seafood pasta and it was delicious!! And a huge serving. They have a full bar with beer on tap and a huge selection of wine. I'm not a big drinker however the bartender that night made us a delicious peanut butter cocktail for dessert! Yummy!It was super crowded for a Tuesday night so we got lucky with a seat at the bar- so make sure to make a reservation! Restaurant is kid friendly- however it is tight seating at the tables so keep that in mind. I did see private dinning areas that were probably for larger parties.The parking is also limited but there is plenty of street and bank parking next door (when bank is closed). Valet is available I believe as well.Overall this place is a super cute date spot. Plan ahead and enjoy."

"It was too chilly to sit outside but seating is available outdoors and they have a parking lot so we were off to a good start... The restaurant was beautifully designed with adequate space between tables for social distancing and salsa at a decent volume. Good music continued all night!! Besides another small table, my group had the place to ourselves so service was perfect. Our server was pleasant, fun and knowledgeable about the kitchen so we created something that wasn’t even on the menu. Staff in our sight kept their masks on, the bathroom was clean and nicely decorated as well. Now for the food drinks- IT WAS ALL DIVINE!! Our table had lobster tail, skirt steak, shrimp fettuccine alfredo, sautéed broccoli and carrots, shrimp cocktail, fried calamari, mofongo, flan and cheesecake. Plus strawberry margaritas, coconut mojito, pina colada, wine and a cosmo. We had zero complaints and the portions were just enough. That’s a compliment because we all cook Caribbean stlye and know our seasonings lol."

"Had a wonderful evening at Bolonga Via Cucina! Mt husband and I were looking for somewhere new to try and we’re so glad we made reservations here. We were sat in the back dining room, which had great ambiance. There were families, a birthday party and couples dining, but the room still felt intimate and cozy (I will say I wouldn’t want to sit in the crammed front bar area and glad we sat in the back). The service was attentive yet not rushed, and our server Julie took care of us very well throughout the meal. They have a great bar selection, and my husband particularly enjoyed the Italian Old Fashioned while I had a glass of Malbec. Everything we ordered was delicious with generous portions. The Caesar salad was on point and the bread was the best I’ve been served at a restaurant in a long time. Our favorite dish was the chicken Parmesan ; the cavatappi funghi was also flavorful. The tiramisu was fresh and divine. We usually skip desert and so glad we didn’t this time. We will definitely be back to try more of their creative Italian menu. Highly recommend!"
