"Had a great late lunch at Ajax Diner. We were fortunate to miss the lunch rush and got a booth right away. We ordered the Ronzo Salad with Creole Mustard Vinaigrette, which was really different and quite good. The smoked catfish is subtle but hearty bout server described it as a satisfying salad and I would whole heartedly agree. We also had the fried catfish and added red beans and rice, butter beans and jalapeño corn bread. The catfish was crispy and perfectly cooked, the red beans had a nice kick, the butter beans were seasoned just like your grandmother used to make and the cornbread had just a bit of sweetness and a nice crumb. One final shoutout, if you’re into Arnold Palmers, I highly recommend their sweet tea-lemonade blend. The atmosphere is cozy old school and the service was excellent."
