"I took my mother-in-law out for lunch on Mother's Day 2021 at Troy Family Restaurant. The coffee, food, and service by Jen were excellent. We hadn't dined out since 2019, but we loved every moment of our meal and plan to return soon. The biscuits and gravy are the best around! In June 2022, the waitresses had changed, but the quality remained the same. It's still my favorite local spot, and I visit often. By October 2022, I discovered that their pies, cakes, and brownies are fabulous. The brownies make a great late-night snack, especially when heated in the microwave and topped with ice cream. Your sweet tooth will thank you! Sadly, in September 19, 2023, we learned of the tragic loss of our beloved waitress, Norma Caraker. She was loved by many and will always hold a special place in my heart."
