"First time here. We ordered our food to go. General Tso's combination plate and a Large order of Chicken with black bean sauce. The food was very good. The general tso sauce didn't have any heat and was sweeter than we were used to but it wasn't unpleasant. The chicken was cooked perfectly! The chicken with black bean sauce was some of the best I've ever tasted. The chicken pieces were large and there was a lot. It was tender and juicy. Will definitely order again. I gave 3 stars for the building's appearance because the blinds were broken in the window and it didn't seem well put together inside. But that doesn't matter to me because it seemed clean and the food was good."

"A sad aspect of today’s experience was that I ordered through DoorDash, but the last time I went to pick up my order, it sat on the shelf for 20 minutes while they attended to other customers in the dining area. I ordered Shrimp Foo Young, which usually has a rich, flavorful gravy that you could almost enjoy like soup. Today, it was bland. The Egg Foo Young patties were charred as well. Another time, I tried the orange chicken, and I was baffled by the soggy breading on the chicken, which was accompanied by a minimal amount of sauce. The staff is welcoming, but it feels like something has changed—possibly a shift in the cooking staff or a shortage of help. In the end, I ended up throwing the food away, still feeling hungry and out $25+. I think it's time for us to part ways. I've given it my best shot, but I can't continue like this. I've even jokingly renamed it "Empire Die-Nasty.""

"No joke, this was one of the best meals we've had in Dothan. We stopped by to pick up a menu, and the staff was incredibly friendly, answering all our questions. I placed an order over the phone later, and it was ready when we got there. The staff was just as friendly during the payment process and enjoyed some light conversation with us. Once we got home, the food was amazing—the Mongolian beef was the most tender I've ever tasted. The egg rolls were fantastic, and the fried dumplings were just as good. Seriously, don’t bother looking for Chinese food anywhere else. Great China is the best. I can’t wait to eat there again!"

"I live in Marley Creek and am a professional food blogger with over 5,000 followers. This restaurant may look unassuming from the outside, but it serves some of the best "chimerican" cuisine in the area. I tried the lo mein, wonton soup, egg roll, shrimp roll, fried rice, fried wontons, and rice, and I would happily order each of them again. They do tend to be a bit generous with the soy sauce, but you can easily request less soy through their convenient online menu. The wonton soup was fresh and delicious, and the chicken and rice is made to order. The owners are a friendly couple from mainland China, near the southwest coast. I highly recommend giving this place a try—you won’t be disappointed! It's far superior to Dai Kim and other nearby options!"

"I must say, this place use to be one of my daughter's favorites prior to covid. She loved the buffet options and they had a fresh sushi line that was decent considering this is a buffet. However, once covid hit, everything changed. They started charging before you even sit down, you pay before the meal... and once you eat there, you'll understand why. The food is no longer freshly cooked or made, including the sushi. Some of the food items offered were not even edible by myself or my daughter, literally removing them from our mouths with a napkin and trying not to gag. This was the second trip after covid, both experiences the same... wishing I could get refunded because the food was terrible. Even at the end of dinner, both myself and my daughter saying at least we will get the yummy ice cream, that makes it worth it .. guess again, no longer offering ice cream either. We will never go back. Sad really, we use to eat here often... they need to fix this."

"I visited Uncle Lee's for some traditional Chinese food, as that was what I was in the mood for. I enjoyed the food overall, but my rating is based solely on the customer service I received. My family of three ordered four dishes and three appetizers. The waitress commented that there was a lot of food for just three people, but we all know that leftover Chinese food is always a good thing. She joked that we must be really hungry, to which I replied that we were planning to eat it all. She then mentioned that the amount of food we ordered was enough for six people. As we were leaving, she gave us six fortune cookies, joking that it was because we had ordered for six people. I couldn't help but feel a bit insulted by the comment, as it seemed like she was making a comment about our size. This kind of treatment was unexpected, so I wonder if the restaurant is under new management."
