"When it was our turn, we informed the hostess of our party size, and she told us to wait, mentioning that the kitchen was overwhelmed. In retrospect, we probably should have left at that point, especially as we watched three tables walk out after deciding they didn’t want to wait. After about ten minutes, when she finally called our name, we asked if we could sit outside since there were open tables that just needed to be cleaned. She flatly refused, explaining that she wasn’t cleaning them at that moment and urged us to make a quick decision so she could continue. Eventually, we were seated at the back inside.
When we initially requested two high chairs upon putting our name down, she only provided one after we were seated. After reminding her we needed another, she insisted they didn’t have one available. Considering there was only one other child in a high chair in the whole restaurant, this seemed unreasonable. When we then asked for a booster seat, she rolled her eyes and sighed, but ultimately found another high chair for us.
Our waitress, on the other hand, was very friendly and quickly refilled our drinks as soon as they were half empty. However, we waited a staggering 45 minutes for three fish sandwiches and two chicken tender meals. Our fries arrived cold and soggy, clearly having been sitting out for a while. While the cheesy potatoes were good, they were also cold.
Overall, the food was decent, but our experience was heavily overshadowed by the hostess's attitude. Unfortunately, we won't be returning anytime soon."
