"after we waited 15 minutes (because we were 10 minutes early) to sit as soon as we were sitting, we waited some time until our server came by. she looked overwhelmed and seemed too worried about her other tables instead of asking us if we want to drink something, water. actually lasted 15-20 minutes to get water because we made the mistake to ask if they were still a child's article that was no longer on the menu. (sometimes they can make objects when they have the ingredients) after 10 minutes this was not the case. the other guest of my party could therefore settle for the beef-tenderoin from the adult menu, which was supposed to be a favorit that other guests ordered after our server. Apart from that it was extremely small (for $34) it was extremely dry and tasteless. the server recommended to put the sose on the side if it was spicy (what it was not) and it was obviously necessary to put any kind of moisture in this piece meat. I had to help her cut it and had to be soaked with the sauce, but it was still moderate. our server offered to have made another piece that we rejected because we wanted to wait until the end of the time. I talked to the manager about this whole situation. it was very new to this facility and totally inexperienced with what it previously offered. unless our server had a bad night, she needed to find another line of work - she had to start such a job. each question seemed to be like a hassle for them and even leave extra water. this is the first time that I can remember that I leave a 10% tip, as it makes our entire meal a total disappointment. this was one of our favorite restaurants on the property, no more, so much so that we don't return-magie is gone. what should have been offered .maybe a discount because any other chain restaurant would have done that!"

"We ordered a couple of cocktails, which were decent but not remarkable, priced around $12-15 each. The table bread was remarkably stale, and our house salads left much to be desired—more reminiscent of something you’d find on a dirty floor rather than a fresh dish, at about $12-14. To make matters worse, the croutons in the salads were hard and old. I opted for the oysters, which were tasty, but they were served with ice from a drink machine instead of the finer, crushed ice typical of an upscale restaurant’s oyster plate. My wife chose the seafood trio pasta, but unfortunately, the bread served alongside it was also stale, cold, and hard. We also ordered two more drinks that never arrived. Our waitress seemed disinterested, perhaps because we looked young and they assumed we wouldn't tip well. It took nearly 15 minutes just to receive our check after finishing our meal, and we weren’t presented with an after-dinner cocktail or dessert menu. When we finally received our change, it took another 15-20 minutes. The total bill was $121.80, and I left a $30 tip—not because of the service, but out of sympathy since I worked in food service during college. In short, I strongly advise against dining here if you’re looking for quality food or good service. After our meal, I mentioned to three different employees at the casino that we had eaten at this restaurant, and their reactions ranged from “Oh, I’m sorry, I tried it and it’s not very good” to “Why did you do that?” This further confirmed that the staff knows the quality isn’t up to par. Let’s hope they improve in the coming years!"

"This review is for dinner. Sigh, it pains me to give this review because I REALLY wanted to like this place. I feel like there's so much potential, but the food just really missed the mark for me and sadly I probably will not be back. Ambiance Service: cute and casual. The backyard area is quite lovely when the weather is nice. At one point we were one of two other tables eating (at 8pm on a Saturday) and the restaurant stopped playing music for a long time, so that kind of through the ambiance off. Service was good. The only small negative was that we had an outdoor reservation and halfway through eating we had to move inside because there was a private party that rented the entire section. It was a bit disruptive to our dinner. Food: and this is where the main disappointment lands. Most of the dishes were just off. There are a lot of solid reviews, so perhaps it was an off night. We did family style and ordered the below for two people: -Fried Shrimp Toasts: this was probably the best thing we had. Comes with two small halves. Flavorful and great texture. -Open Faced Vietnamese Sandwich: I don't usually like pate, but was curious about this. I actually enjoyed. -Papaya Salad: I didn't enjoy. I appreciate a different take on this dish, but honestly just longed for the traditional papaya salad. It tasted like a zoodle dish with pesto sauce. -Vietnamese Crepe: this was just ok for me. I think it's just a personal preference though because the shrimp paste had almost a sweet taste to it that I'm not sure I enjoyed. -Littleneck Clams: underwhelming. -Fried Crab Parcels: I did not like this. Perhaps there was something off this night because it had a very odd and off putting taste. They were very soggy and overall did not taste good. -Vermicelli Bowl: this has potential, but I was very underwhelmed. For almost $30 I expected more. It needed more sauce and pickled veggies. The only pickled veggies it comes with are the tiny slivers in the sauce. It made me long for just the traditional vermicelli bowls. -Curry (with steak added): this was quite flavorful and hearty. We enjoyed."
