"The food quality has significantly declined since the remodeling. The menudo tasted like it was washed out with pozole from a can and left to sit. When they served the already cooked menudo, it was topped with raw, flavorless pozole. As for the horchata, it was utterly disappointing. The only dishes we truly enjoyed were the gordita and the migas; thankfully, the migas remained perfect—I'm hoping they don’t change the simple recipe.
Our server was fantastic, but the staff seemed overwhelmed with limited space. All six of them were crammed behind the cashier counter, juggling drink orders, food, payment processing, and gathering utensils and napkins. This place truly has lots of potential, but it really needs a professional evaluation and a thoughtful redesign, rather than a casual attempt to improve its appearance."
