"The host was taking a list of names for seating but instead of using the list and seating people in order of check-in, he chose to seat the people who were standing closest to the dining area. When we asked the host to seat people based on the order of check-in he got visibly irritated. He then apologized to the people standing closest to the dining area for having to seat the people who were waiting longest first. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive however, and the burgers were great."

"that was my favorite visit, and from today 12/21/2021 they lost me and some of my employees. pay attention to the older man in the register he constantly over the charging of the customers. he always has a different comfort fee and if they ask him what it is, because he has no answer. if they have a small amount of food consisting of 2 articles, they must constantly tell him not to overload them and they must also remind him that there is a small plate with only 2 articles that do not consist of ochs or garnels. this man is a thief and we all will make a complaint to consumer affairs. if the average man is there, he does not calculate these constant ridiculous prices. they have lost as many of us behind him, a crook as today, because this old man is a thief and price gallery."

"Whenever I'm in Chicago I search for hidden gem foodie spots. I mean Chicago is literally foodie Heaven. We didn't dine in because we were trying to prepare for an event but I'm kind of glad we didn't. It's small and dark inside, and I felt like the tables were too close together. But they made up for it all with an AMAZING breakfast. I got the gyro skillet. Absolutely delicious!! The picture does it absolutely no justice.. I never thought of gyro as a breakfast item and now I know I need it often. There were huge portions of meat and amazing tzatziki sauce and nobody will ever call them stingy with the cheese because for every bite I got delicious feta cheese chunks mixed in. It was amazing. The pancakes were basic, there was nothing wrong with them but I'm not going to reminisce on them. But that gyro skillet!!! I can't wait to get it again"

"TLW Club is amazing! We had a side of fruit and a couple lattes. Mountain Mint and No Name. Bitterness to the coffee, could be a bit more smooth. A must if you're coming for the food!! Friendly staff, not long wait times for your meal, you aren't waiting for a prolonged amount of time before someone comes to check in on you. Well lit."

"Went to the Hewlett location. Not sure what all the rave reviews are about. We were greeted and brought to our table by a pleasant host and thats where the good vibes ended. Im sorry-you're in a shopping center charging $20 for a mixed drink? Not sure who our server was but we had two or three people come over to our table in a hurry within minutes of each other asking us for our order. It was our first time, I was busy chatting with my friend who I hadn’t seen in a while and trying to figure out the menu that, for the most part, had no descriptions. Having food allergies, this is pretty important to me and it was a weekday and not busy so not sure what the rush was. The food came within 3 minutes (definitely not carefully prepared by a sushi chef) and was good but nothing spectacular. One of the rolls was not what we ordered but when we tried to ask them to describe what was brought to us each one of the servers seemed to not understand us. Had to ask for water. Bill was $160 for 2 people. Will not be back."

"It has been years since I’ve eaten here as we’ve moved out to Cypress. But a trip to the heights made stopping here a must. The pizza was spectacular!!! The crust was perfectly baked. I usually have to ask to bake it kinda well done, but they truly nailed it. The cheese and sauce were perfectly balanced deliciousness. I had the Chicago deep dish and it was fantastic. Better than I remembered it from years ago. My daughter had the New York hand tossed chicken florentine and the grandkids had a NY cheese pizza. My 8 yr old grandson said it was the best pizza he’s ever had. So there you have it folks. I’m from Chicago and finding great pizza in Houston is rare. This is definitely in the “top 5 best” pizza category. If you’re a pizza snob this place needs to be on your very short list!!"

"Five of us got together for a birthday celebrationon a week night. We made our reservations on Open Table for 7:00 pm but when we walked in, I got the feeling it was a bit of a surprise to the staff. We had to wait for them to put tables together and set up to accommodate us as though we were walk ins. We waited an inordinate amount of time for our food to come to the table after we ordered (about an hour). At least bring the salads out guys to hold us over and let us think the food is somewhere in sight. We were so famished we went through 2 baskets of bread. Now, in Vicolo's defense, it was a Thursday evening which is a buy one entree, get one free. So it was quite busy. However, this generous deal has been offered Mon Thurs for years, so I would think they'd have their timing down pat on a busy night, whether its BOGO or not. I would imagine it was as busy as a Saturday night. Anyway, despite the tortuous wait time, the food was fabulous. I ordered the Branzino special which was absolutely delicious. One of us ordered the ravioli and raved how good it was. So I"m torn great food vs. terrible service. We had to call the server and eventually the owner, when the server was unavailable to move the dinner process along. Can we order dessert now? Can we have the delicious flavored grappa that is offered complimentary? Can we have the check? I got the impression when Benny, the owner saw our frustration, he realized I had put a note on the Open Table notes that we were celebrating a birthday, so he brought over a sample assortment of desserts with a candle. Good save, Benny! The desserts were delicious. It would have been nice if coffee was offered at that time. I will definitely give Vicolo another chance but improving the service would have made the evening perfect."

"We had one of the best servers I've ever had tonight. He was amazing never let our drinks get half empty, I could go on.... they play good music, family atmosphere but also has a nice bar that seemed to be busy and fun. The food is priced good. 8-10 bucks ave plate. Sandwhich burger type of place and the food is good fresh and huge amount of food... I've been here a few times never been disappointed. I recommend as casual dining, with fair prices."

"Oh my goodness, the best salad ever with delicious homemade buttermilk ranch dressing!! Only $1.50 for Sunday football draft mugs! The staff is friendly and it's a great place to watch football games. The only downside is that the food took a bit long to arrive."

"I came across this delightful little place by chance, and I've completely fallen for it! I can’t stop thinking about their burgers. I've been there three consecutive nights, trying a different burger each time, and every one has been fantastic. This cozy bar-restaurant consistently serves up mouthwatering meat creations that are simply incredible. They have a range of options, including Wagyu, Bison, Angus, turkey, and bean burgers, all of which are superb. The truffle dishes are also a highlight. If you’re in search of delicious food in a warm and inviting bar setting, this is the place to be. The service is excellent, and the charming dog-themed artwork adds a lovely touch to the ambiance. I wish I could give them more stars, and I highly recommend you check it out!"

"I am a frequent customer who usually enjoys the experience. Last night, however, the restaurant was not properly cooled, and it was very warm and humid in the main area. The service was terrible. We waited forever to order and had to grab a passing busboy to ask him to find someone to take the order. The food arrived and I ordered Linguini Vongole that arrived overcooked with browned shells and many of the small clams were shriveled up. My guess is that it was cold, so they popped it under the broiler or in a very hot oven. After the meal, the table was cleared and the waitress asked if we wanted dessert, which we declined. We were talking quite a while, and we never got the check. Again, I grabbed whoever was passing by to request it. When I was ready to pay by card, for the third time, I accosted a passing waitress (not ours) to take the payment. All-in-all, a disappointing, sub-par experience."

"We love coming to KUU, because the food is always amazing. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but it's a high end restaurant that is owned and run by the chef. Everything tasted great from the sous vide wagyu to the softshell crab to the scallops to the makimono. My son, who can be a little finicky, completely demolished the wagyu and asparagus, even fully partaking of the fig-based sauce, and he never eats sauces or puts dressing on his salads. My wife ordered the roasted brussel sprouts, which were served with a honey sauce that cut the usual bitterness of the sprouts to the point where I would actually order them for myself, and I really don't like brussel sprouts. We were there celebrating my parents' 62nd wedding anniversary, and they brought out a complimentary dessert featuring black sesame seed brownies served with a rice sorbet drizzled with black sesame seed sauce. It was amazing! The rice sorbet was similar in neutrality to vanilla in taste but it wasn't as sweet and really left a nice clean palate afterwards. The waitstaff was very attentive, providing refills in a timely fashion, and clearing dishes as they were finished. I would definitely recommend KUU to anyone."

"After making my lunch reservation to this local pizza bistro place I didn't expect much however, as soon as I entered the restaurant, that all began to change. I expected to see a typical pizzeria type atmosphere. Instead, I entered a cozy bistro with a warm inviting decor. We tried the sausage/broccoli flatbread appetizer which was delicious! I ordered the mussels for my entree and was given a choice of three different sauces. I had the white wine sauce. The mussels tasted fresh and the sauce was very good. For dessert I had the chocolate mousse. It was light, airy, and very smooth and creamy. I can't wait to tell my friends about this place and come back when the weather gets warm to sit and dine outside."

"Franco's sauces are truly exceptional, and his pasta dishes are top-notch. Last night for dinner, K had the stuffed shells, which were absolutely delightful—perfectly seasoned and rich in flavor. Our salads were fresh and fantastic, dressed with Franco's balsamic vinaigrette (which he also sells by the bottle). However, the highlight for me was the simple sausage and pepper sub. I believe a lot of it comes down to Franco's sourcing; the sausage, like the balsamic vinegar and his incredible sauces, is definitely not the average grocery store variety. That's what sets Franco's apart and makes it truly remarkable."

"Cunios. Where do I even begin. I should start by saying this, I don’t have a problem spending money on food.BUT it has to be worth it. Cunios is ridiculously overpriced, considering they are serving you sub-par food with plastic forks and plates for their “Dine-In” experience! I will say this, I haven’t tried the entire menu, but I will at least speak to the salads. First of, 21-25$ for a salad is what you will be paying so you can imagine the other menu items are no different. The salads taste fine, but they aren’t worth more than 14$. As a bonus, you can also buy a flavorless chicken poppers appetizer for 15$ to top off your experience. Cunios prices act as if they have a 4-5 star dining experience like Daniels Broiler. What you get instead is average food served with plastic. There are plenty of other places to choose from that will give you better food and prices than Cunios! Save your money and go somewhere else. For 80$ at Cunios, you get average food at best, all self service, and enjoy the nice views of some gas pumps. I can think of multiple places with a water view with better food for 80$ save your money."
"I am on a business trip in NJ and as with most trips to NJ, going to an Italian restaurant is usually on the menu and a safe bet. I should have known better when we walked in on the dirty industrial floor runner. The table tops are granite with chips off the edges, the service is okay, and the food is average at best. I had their version of Past Fagioli, which was a watered down tomato broth, ditalini, and beans. I had to ask for cheese as it was not offered or on the table. I ordered the clams and linguini, which was reasonably fresh and with a mound of pasta The surrounding are minimal and basic era. Frankly, the place looks like an old fast food joint that is trying to be a restaurant and not a pleasurable place to be for the evening."

"We love this restaurant and been going there many years. They have a broad and varied menu. Some menu items are seasonal so not always available. Their scollops are wonderful, liver and onions the best I've had, seared ahi is fantastic with perfect spicing, burgers perfect, Chopped steak just great, always a special soup, vegetables and sides are always great. bar is really comfortable and bartenders know what they are doing. NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL THERE, EVER!"
